Very historic hotel. You can visit the hotel to learn about its history, from the hotel built before World War I to how it has evolved step by step to today. The hotel has a restaurant and the front desk service is very professional.

The Kviknes Hotel consists of two parts, the original hotel containing some of the older rooms as well as the main the restaurant, and a newer multistorey wing. We stayed in the latter and whilst it's by no means a contemprary building, it was comfortable, clean and had a great view of the surrounding fjords and mountain ranges. The hotel in Balestrand is an ideal base to explore the fjords as well as the scenic road Turistveg: Gaularfjellet. We mostly ate dinner in the bar area, and the food was quite acceptable. The breakfast was included in the tarrif and was of a high standard. There is ample free parking as well as charging points for EVs.

Lugar paradisíaco! O quarto tinha uma vista fantástica para o fiorde. O jantar espetacular buffet variado e super bem feito. Tudo estava delicioso. A cidade é bucólica, me senti fazendo parte de uma pintura. Mas venham preparados porque aqui faz muito frio. Um habito local e fazer uma sauna e em seguida dar um mergulho nas aguas geladas do fiorde. Essa experiência eu passo..kkkk Super recomendo!!

Hotel é bom. Jantar e breakfast são bons. Elevadores são pequenos e na hora da chegada filas para subir aos quartos! Outra coisa ruim são os quartos, apesar da vista linda. As camas são estreitas e uma mesa grande para o quarto, é preocupante pois ao levantar podemos bater na quina. Banheiro é bom, mas o chuveiro é um convite para queda. Não tem nada para evitar escorregar e nada para segurar. Risco alto para idosos! Hotel: vista 10 e o restante nota 6!!
