We've opened our house in the hopes of providing a place to relax, have retreats, and host families looking to create memories together in a space away from the busy-ness of city life.The Potter's House is situated in the northern part of Lake Arrowhead, less than a mile away from Tavern Bay Beach. It's nestled in a private residence from which you can view the beautiful Arrowhead foliage and take in the grandeur of a star-filled sky. With 3,330 square feet, 4 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms, it is spacious enough for families of all sizes to either spend time in each other's company or in peace and solitude. The house is located only one and a half hours away from most of the Greater Los Angeles area, allowing for easy access into and out of Lake Arrowhead.Sleeping and Bedding• Bedroom 1 - two memory foam queens on the main floor and a queen-sized pullout sofa• Bedroom 2 - two bunk beds (each with a twin and full-sized bed) and a queen-sized futon• Bedroom 3 (master suite) - a memory foam king-sized bed, queen futon• Bedroom 4 (master suite) - a memory foam king-sized bed, queen futonAltogether, we have beds for 12 individuals, not including the sofa bed and pit area full of pillows, which is commonly used as a sleeping area.This house is ideal for 2-3 families and can accommodate up to 12 individuals when the hideaway mattresses, sofa beds, and pit areas are utilized.Don't forget our four large and thoroughly cleaned restrooms! (Please bring your own beach towels if you would like to enjoy the private members-only beach.)Home Away From HomeThe kitchen is equipped with a new industrial stove and a large new stainless steel refrigerator. It's fully stocked with silverware, plates, pots, pans, and almost anything else you'd find in your kitchen at home. The porch has a propane grill ($40), a picnic bench, and an outdoor dining table to enjoy your freshly grilled food outside.Feel free to use our laundry room with a washer and dryer. We provide freshly laundered sheets, blankets, and plenty of towels! (Make sure to bring a few extra blankets if more than 12 people are planning on sleeping over.)The living room areas are bright and spacious with large windows that allow the sun to bathe the rooms with natural light throughout the day. We have plenty of couches where you can sit and talk as well as a fun sunken-pit area (see pictures) that attracts the younger ones. They love sitting in that area to read, talk, play games, and hang out for hours on end.There's also heating for the winter and three real wood-burning fireplaces (one in each of the master suites and in the main living room) to keep you warm during the winter months.Come and have a wonderfully stress-free, joy-filled, and blessed stay with your family and friends. They have a fitness center with equipment and various classes (Pilates, Yoga, Aerobics) as well as a swimming pool overlooking the lake. Monday through Friday, the daily spa fee is $25; on Saturday and Sunday, $30. This A-Frame has all the comforts and modern amenities for an unforgettable mountain getaway.The spaceOn the main level is a spacious bedroom lined with knotty wood walls and a private balcony with views of the mountains (our favorite place to enjoy coffee.) Upstairs includes two bedrooms and a loft bedroom. On the main level and upstairs are two full bathrooms with tubs. The basement also includes a half bathroom. The Oso A-Frame includes all the modern amenities we all love, including keyless entry, fast WiFi, a flatscreen TV, and central heating. Flat parking and very few stairs (4 stairs at the entrance of deck) to enter the A-frame. This is particularly nice in the winter, when there is ice and snow, and things are slippery. The property has two flat parking spots to the side (left of the cabin), and two additional spots in the front. Pets are welcomed on the property. The cabin includes an adjacent lot/forest (to the right) that is perfect for your dogs to stretch out. The Oso A-Frame is conveniently located near everything that Lake Arrowhead has to offer.
