Outstanding
For the second year we spent the New Year's Eve in camping and found ourselves very good. Clean, practical and comfortable structure with electricity and water in the squares. The possibility of renting the very large and ideal common room for large companies in winter as a place of finding . In the campsite there is the pinsery that offers a great pinse and variety of food. Absolutely we will come back and recommend it!
We only spent one night in this hotel, and it is surely an experience we will not forget in a hurry. As a military history buff I was intrigued to visit this hotel, located as it is within the walls of an Italian C19 fortress. Unfortunately, due to health and car problems we did not arrive in the best of spirits having endured a journey from hell, (due also to our Satnav deciding to throw ‘a wobbly’ that day), resulting in our not arriving at the hotel until 8pm. Nevertheless, having phoned the ever courteous and helpful Deborah warning her of our late arrival, things did not turn out too badly. However, be aware that access to this property is not exactly simple or for the faint hearted. Having driven up a multi-storey car park with very narrow roadways, you are then confronted with the prospect of ascending not one but five lifts in order to eventually reach our room at the top of the fort. A task not to be taken on lightly with cumbersome luggage. The conversion from fortress to hotel has been achieved to an extraordinary degree, with reception rooms, lounges and bedrooms all tastefully, if a little clinically, decorated. We occupied a junior suite which was very comfortable, with spacious bedroom, good sized bathroom (with bathtub), together with a small lobby and smaller room with an additional single bed. The view from the window and small balcony of the mountains and valley below was truly breath-taking. However, the site’s functions are a little quirky as it is trying to balance both being a tourist attraction and a hotel at the same time. Breakfast was a little disappointing as effectively what you are offered is the site cafeteria with a few concessions to what you might expect at that time of day. Also, for somewhere so remote, it is unfortunate that there is no restaurant. The reception is only open for limited hours. So, if you want something different, in a fantastic mountain retreat – if a little quirky – give it a go. The memory will stay with you, whatever your experience.
Hotel Millefiori is an absolute gem! When you walk in the door you feel like you are in a very nice club, and they make you feel very special, immediately bringing us cappuccinos and offering snacks while we waited for our room to be ready (we were very early). The room was very comfortable, and had a great view. The lounge was luxurious, and provided many drinks and snacks and coffee on an honor system. They had a sauna and a jacuzzi in a spa area that was heaven after the long trail we had hiked. We ate dinner there as well, and it was truly outstanding. Breakfast was an unbelievable assortment of fresh fruits and mueslis, yoghurts, types of eggs, etc., much like the selection you’d find on a cruise ship. But underlying all these great features was a level of service that I have found maybe at a Ritz Carlton. It was that good. Strongly recommend!
GGuest UserTreated ourselves to a two night stay in the middle of our Tour Mont Blanc hike. Management must do a good job selecting and training staff, because everyone we encountered was attentive, professional, but also comfortable to interact with. Great breakfasts and lovely view from the room. We appreciated the hotels flexibility rescheduling our stay from Covid-year-one. We write this review five months after our stay, but, I believe that the card in the room with the hotel manager's contact info, actually included her mobile phone number.

Very Good
Overpriced, overrated, under delivered. Hotel was clean and modern with nice showers and convenient ski rental- that’s all of the positives. Restaurant was awful, amateur service, poorly cooked food, repetitive and inconsistent with literally everything chargeable (advertised as a gourmet restaurant with specific egg menu- not included 7eur for a fried egg). Pool charged at 20 eur per person, residents not entitled to use (spa I would have thought was chargeable but not to pool) so forget a 30 min dip after skiing. Hotel temperature is insane- boiling. Room temps don’t run off the thermostat on the wall- that would be too obvious, controlled by downstairs and the computer was broke. Outside balcony lights controlled by downstairs and shine through paper thin curtains at night. Shower is lovely but in the middle of the room in front of the door to the hall so offer zero privacy, surprise surprise 6 eur a night for water- family of four costs start to rack up pretty quickly. Bar was nice but the fire advertised was imaginary- a bit like the service, 30 min wait for a drink- quicker than a coffee in the morning though which often never showed at all despite 2-3 requests. Shuttle fits 8 people despite 72 people staying here- constant battle to get into town. Not surprising given the standards on offer here. We all hated the food and ate out, annoying as we only stayed here as it was a ‘gourmet’ restaurant. Avoid.
After three days on the Tour du Mont Fallère, we were ready for an overnight stay in a private room, and we got one. Upon arrival, we did have to wait a while to check in, but that was fine. Remembering all that the owner had to tell us was impossible, but we eventually figured it out during our stay. The room - number 316 - was well clean and had a balcony. The hotel is somewhat dated. It could probably be modernised a bit, but I suspect many older guests really appreciate this very décor. Everyone works hard, but still does not manage to clear and redecorate all tables immediately. Dinner was reasonable. Slightly below expectations and served somewhat quickly and hastily, but maybe my expectations are high. Breakfast was good, though an egg and some cheese could be added. All in all, we were able to relax nicely and definitely recommend staying here after several days of hiking.
KKartashevThe hotel is very comfortable and comfortable in the strategic location. Rooms represent the mood “chic mountain years 90”, excellent quality/price ratio. nice staff, very available for any needs. Excellent cocktail at a decent price. A pleasant stay in the mountain.
