Athens Hotels with balcony

"I highly recommend B48 Dafni. It’s slightly off the center but getting to the Acropolis takes a 20 min ride, which is totally fine. The design is minimalist and the apartment is pristine clean and has almost everything you need (cooking supplies, blow dryer, cleaning kit, even a small safe deposit box). There is a shop nearby and some cafes.  A couple of things worth mentioning: if you think about having romantic breakfasts in the balcony, you won’t because the flat is overlooking a very busy highway crossing the whole city, though the smell, the dust and the occasional car noise. The noise level in the room with window closed is ok and they also give you some earplugs just in case.  Note that there is no washing machine, as I was staying for 10 days I had to discover that the nearest laundromat requires a 20 min ride which makes a whole operation very time consuming.  Also the apartments are really located near one another (like hotel rooms). I had pretty noisy neighbours and there was no salvation to this lol :) earplugs do help.  Apart of all that I had really great time there. The bed is really good, the cleaning staff is very nice and helpful (since there is no reception desk they will be the only ones answering your questions non-digitally).  But it totally worth its price and if you’re looking for something cosy and not too pricy this is a very good solution."

"Excellent location, walking distance to metro. Breakfast is nice, good selection, very tasty scramble eggs. Front desk concierge is extremely attentive and super helpful on where to go in Athens. A very elegant and tasteful hotel overall."

"The location of the hotel is not too bad, quite near to the train station and about 15 minutes away from the Acropolis. Check-in and check-out were easy and the facilities were good. However, a major issue was that there were 2 blackouts throughout the evening, with the 2nd blackout lasting more than 7 hours from 2130H to 0500H the next morning. I had no choice but to sleep in my cold room as there was no heating, no lights and no electricity available. Overall, a rough night of sleep but if they can ensure that there are no blackouts, then this is easily a decent 4 star hotel."

"Clean and comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was a bit different from the photos online, but still perfectly fine for a stay. The location is convenient, though it’s better to be cautious in the area during the evening. Overall, a pleasant experience. + wonderful breakfast"

"They have a part-time reception service, which I never encountered during my two-day stay, but check-in and check-out were surprisingly easy. I received step-by-step instructions via email and WhatsApp. If you have any issues, you're asked to contact them via a given WhatsApp number (though I didn't need to). The rooms offer complimentary capsule coffee service, and an extra heater is provided for colder weather. The rooms could be a bit bigger. The hotel is centrally located on the main street in a historic building. The price-to-service ratio is quite good."

"Great service from the hotel staff. The lady at reception was polite, kind and friendly! The hotel location is very near to the syngro fix train station. The hotel room looks new and very well maintained. The amenities provided includes a brand new coffee machine. Complimentary teas and coffees provided. Toilet amenities like shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste was also provided. There's shops nearby. Minimarts, cafes."

"The service was great and helpful, the room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. However, the water pipes on the first floor were very noisy, and they even disturbed at night. No bottles water was provided. The location is very close to the metro station, which is very convenient."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, situated on Women's Street. It's just a 13-15 minute walk to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. With many delicious restaurants and jewelry stores in the vicinity, it's perfect for shopping. Getting to the hotel from the airport is straightforward without needing a taxi. Simply exit the airport and ask for the X95 bus, which takes you directly to Syntagma Square in less than an hour, costing 5.5 Euros per person. From Syntagma Square, walk down through the square onto the central street, and the hotel is just a 3-5 minute walk further, located down a small alley next to Mango. A minor drawback is the lack of complimentary bottled water. However, the rooms are quite spacious, and with a comfortable 1.5-meter sofa, there's ample space, even if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel breakfast was standard, with a limited selection. Nevertheless, the hotel's 7th-floor cafe offers stunning panoramic views of the Acropolis. It's particularly beautiful to visit around 7 PM to witness the Acropolis at sunset. The prices for food and drinks there are also reasonable."
