My husband was here business and I accompanied him. The hotel was in an excellent location and I rented a bike on 2 occasions to see the sites: Tihany Abbey and Church, pleasure boat trip on Lake Balaton and a tour of the city. The food was good and I was able to select a healthy variety at breakfast and dinner. The desserts were excellent! I had a great massage and used the swimming pool regularly. In summary, I enjoyed a very pleasant break whilst my husband was working very hard in the heat! We would definitely recommend in low season but in July and August may be more suitable if you have children!

The location is very good. The facilities are a bit old, but there is no inconvenience in using them. It is easy to access the surrounding tourist attractions.

Location was good but the private strand wasn’t comfortable. There were no sun beds available for to use, had to rent them which is bad! Should be provided!
The restaurant was crowded hard to find tables anytime!

Schöner Blick und tolle Lage am See. Personal an der Rezeption freundlich, im Restaurant eher weniger freundlich und aufmerksam.
Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis bei Verpflegung.
Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und erneuerungsbedürftig (Einfachverglasung der Fenster, alte Balkon--und Zimmertüren).

The hotel in "retro" style, equipment and furnishings of rooms and bathrooms is really from the 80s. The hotel would be modernized. The soundproofing of the rooms is insufficient, you can hear everything from the surrounding rooms. However, the bed is very comfortable. The staff try to keep the hotel clean, which they do. The advantage is individual air conditioning, which, however, should be cleaned more often. The dining room is large but the food is very tasty, there is plenty of it and the advantage is free drinks. The beach is in the immediate vicinity, just cross the promenade and is very well maintained and nice with everything the beach needs.
