Lake Palace Baku

Sigh...it's hard to say enough. The service is really good, the attitude is very good, and they are very enthusiastic towards Chinese people. It's just that the hygiene is really bad. I couldn't sleep due to bug bites at night, the bedding was terrible, and the breakfast was not rich at all. Not recommended! I suggest friends who want to travel to spend more money and stay in better hotels!

Never choose this hotel if you don’t want to ruin your impression of Baku. I stayed at the hotel for 5 days. I paid for the room in advance through the service, if I had not paid through the service in advance I would have gone to another hotel. When checking in, I entered the room and saw that the heater was on, it was +2 outside, this was the only way to somehow heat the room, the heater worked day and night, so at night I had to sleep with the lighting from the heater since it had heaters, which glow. However, it was still cold at night. Also, the room was very dirty, hair, garbage, cobwebs, dead insects on the walls and furniture, and everything was smoky. During the week of my stay, they never cleaned me or changed anything!!!! The room was purchased with starters, in fact there are none, since the breakfast included 3 pieces of cheese, 3 pieces of sausage, several pieces of flatbread, 3 olives, 3 black olives, 2 spoons of condensed milk and mini jam, tea or instant coffee of your choice and that’s it , and this was the case for all 4 breakfasts, once they gave me 1 boiled egg, I went to a restaurant every day in the hope that something would change, and ended up having breakfast in coffee shops. Also, the TV did not work, there was some kind of problem throughout the hotel, but there was a solution, they gave out some kind of set-top boxes for TV, but for me there was no such set-top box, as I was told, everything was distributed to the guests, and I was advised to go out in the evenings. I don’t write reviews often, but here I couldn’t stay away; I categorically do not recommend this hotel for staying.

When you checked in, the room was not very well cleaned, there was hair in the bathroom, the air conditioner works autonomously, you can’t adjust it yourself, in the hot weather its power is not enough, there is no refrigerator in the room, only a cooler that does not cool at all. The bed linen and mattresses are relatively old, the TV is an old model and few channels are shown properly. The room lighting is so-so.

Due to covid, we couldn’t fly to Baku, the hotel refused to refund the cost of the reservation, like you can’t come - your problems. Not good, they could offer to reschedule the dates of residence ... Now we are unlikely to eat.
