Spent one night in Ella at the Flower Garden - arrived late evening from Colombo, quick check in, beautiful garden, comfortable beds, large room and a spectacular view the next morning from the balcony. Dinner was good, well looked after by Lalith. we ate western after 2 weeks of curry😉 standard fayre at breakfast. Had a superb leg massage from Manike and a herbal foot soak..devine. No pool but you can book a room with a plunge pool on your balcony (if only I had known!). Walk to 9 Arches Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak right outside the door. Great location and the best breakfast views in Ella!

This hotel is a perfect example of when nature meets luxury. Neither is it too rural, nor too commercial. The rooms are an experience in themselves. The dorm shape is unique and beautiful. Sounds and voices echo inside the rooms and is actually quite enjoyable. Due to its shape, the room is very spacious (especially worth it for the money). The furnishing is also unique and natural. The food is truly delicious. We ordered lunch from the restaurant and the portions were much bigger than expected. And the view off the balconies were amazing; a perfect spot to have an afternoon tea. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a must stay at laste once in a lifetime.

One of the best places I’ve stayed at! Very cozy and quiet with access to the roof where I met two amazing sunrises. The staff is beyond amazing! Very attentive and friendly, they solve any request within a couple of minutes. I also got to try local breakfast and dinner. They were really good, and the staff patiently explained the proper way of eating everything. Overall, I enjoyed staying here for two nights a lot. Wish I could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommend! The environment is really very good. The villa is located in a small village on the hill. It is very quiet and the locals are super and kind. A minute or two from the hotel, there is a green area overlooking the entire lake, a superb view. The hotel is large, with a large yard at the back, sitting in the yard and watching the children playing and drinking coffee there, really comfortable. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, otherwise the scenery here is so good that it is worth living for a whole day. The only thing that spits out is the road to and from the hotel. It is too scary, one-way street, mountain path, no street light. Fortunately, our driver is very professional and recognizes the road.
