Tranquil Villa

The breakfast is praised for being really good, with a kind offer to pack it. The staff is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. The rooms are consistently very clean and neat.

This place has breathtaking views of the lake and mountains which located approximately 7 Km away from the Nuwaraeliya town . From the hotel it was only around 30mins drive ( 12Km) to Ambewela Farm. The weather was super cold and we all enjoyed every moment stayed there . The food was a bit pricy for Sri Lankans so we found good options at the Nuwaraeliya Town .The staffs were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean but towels were old looking . There was hot water , tea and coffee making facilities in the room. This location is very ideal for wedding pre-shoots . The only issue was that the 500meter distanced graveled road to the hotel was not in a good condition.

Tranquil Villa is one of the best places I had ever stayed. We stayed there for 2 days in January 2022. Actually it is a home away from home. The location is a gem because one can have a magnificent view of everything. The room we got is somewhat small but enough. They charge 500 lkr for heater per day. But that is reasonable due to the harsh conditions. Sampath is a great person. He loved our kids. Chef can prepare tasty meals. His Nasigurang is great. The small dining area is enough for about 20 pax. They have tv lobby for each two floors. Parking is enough for about 5-6 cars. Since the hotel is located on a small hill top, you can find good views from both sides. The view of Kande-Ela reservoir along with Horton plains, Kirigalpotta and Thotupola mountain ranges from our balcony is the greatest. From the other side you can see Nuwara Eliya town along with Pidurutalagala mountain, Lover’s Leap falls and Single Tree Hill. I wish to stay again there.
