Our stay at Namara was serene and refreshing. Nestled among towering pines with panoramic views, it offered the perfect escape from city life. The cozy rooms, warm fireplace, and friendly staff made us feel right at home. A perfect spot for nature lovers and anyone seeking true relaxation!

Excellent and very quiet place. Very close to ella town. Very comfortable bed, clean and spacious bathroom. Feel like nature stay. If you are visiting for relaxation this is a place to stay. They will help to find tuk tuk to ella. Also very helpful

This is a really great boutique hotel just outside of Ella town - a quick Tuk Tuk ride. It actually is closing for 6 months (from January 2025) to add another 8 rooms and you can understand why is it popular. I am sure it will re-open even better than it is now. It is in a beautiful setting and the rooms are really nicely decorated and very clean. The bathrooms are really great - large enough and good shower. There is no TV in the rooms as the owner wants to encourage people to get out into nature - but the internet is excellent, very fast. The breakfast does not have a Sri Lankan option, which is a shame as that would of been nice. For dinner (if you are in the hotel) you can order takeaway from the local restaurants and they will deliver. One tip is to always get a Tuk Tuk back to the hotel at night as walking back is very dark and along a road that does not have a footpath. Tony manages the hotel and he is really great - extremely helpful and just super friendly and very welcoming to everyone.

What a find! Absolutely beautiful & stylish. The rooms look out over lush jungle. And yet only a 20 minute walk from the busy town of Ella. Tony the manager is wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, from tuk tuks, to taxis, to advising us what to pay. And such a gorgeous breakfast. All the staff are lovely. Huge bed & silent aircon

Hotel has just started the owner is planning expansion AND FULL PLEDGED HOTEL. Nice facility clan room, well designed and only breakfast is available. However the facility os about 2 kms from town center Ella, have to travel by tu tuk or taxi to reach.
