V.w.b. de klantvriendelijkheid valt er nog wel wat te verbeteren. Bij de receptie moesten we alle gewenste informatie er bijna ‘uittrekken’. Ik zou een formulier met al onze gegevens moeten invullen. Tsja, ik heb online op hun eigen website gereserveerd. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog een account bij de Center Hotels Group. Dat moet dus efficiënter kunnen. En jawel hoor, nadat ik daar op gewezen had, bleek het invullen van het formulier niet meer nodig te zijn. Ook viel ons op dat bij het ontbijt om 10:30 uur na iedere gast, die de ontbijtruimte wenste te verlaten, de deur eerst van het slot gehaald moest worden om daarna direct weer gauw op slot te doen. Dat maak je niet vaak mee. Op de kamer begon het ook al fijn. De safe gaf een error en was niet te openen. Dus weer terug naar de receptie. Pas de volgende dag kon de safe gerepareerd worden. Het hotel heeft al heel wat jaartjes op de teller. Er is een voldoende grote parkeergarage onder het hotel. Dat is ook wel nodig, want naast het hotel is een ziekenhuis. Hetgeen nog al wat parkeerproblemen in de omgeving oplevert. Het is ongeveer een half uur wandelen naar het centrum. Onze kamer (nr 115; standard room ) was net voldoende groot. We konden onze bagage (1 koffer en 2 trolleys) nog net kwijt op de vloer. De airco functioneerde maar matig. Gelukkig was het buiten niet echt warm. De wifi was helemaal waardeloos. In onze kamer was er geen enkele ontvangst. Ik moest een flink eind de gang oplopen om mijn krant binnen te kunnen halen. Het ontbijt is verder prima. Er is voldoende keuze (zoet en hartig). En het wordt redelijk bijgevuld. Soms moet je er wel even naar vragen. De kamers zijn wel gehorig. Onze kamer had de mogelijkheid om deze te verbinden met de er naast gelegen kamer (nr 117). Er was een (nu afgesloten) tussendeur. Nu hadden we de pech dat daar een jong echtpaar met 2 (zeer) kleine kinderen verbleef. En die maakten toch een lawaai. Hetgeen goed te horen was. We hebben nog overwogen om bij de receptie een andere kamer te vragen. Maar ja, dan kun je alles weer inpakken en het kost weer de nodige tijd. Dus we hoopten maar dat ze de volgende dag zouden vertrekken. Spijtig, misgegokt, de volgende nacht brak het lawaai weer opnieuw los.

Estuvimos 2 días en este hotel; personal atento, limpieza de 10, ubicación a 25 minutos andando del centro, habitaciones grandes con colchones muy buenos. Hasta ahí todo bien…. El día que llegamos como ya era la hora de comer y no conocíamos Badajoz decidimos hacerlo en el restaurante del hotel. Yo pedí merluza en salsa verde con langostinos y almejas ( precio 24,95€), me lo trajeron tibio. Estaba calentado en un microondas por lo que la merluza estaba seca y los “langostinos “ eran gambas de cocktail pequeñitas. Cuando le pregunto al camarero qué donde están los langostinos me dice que son esos pero que están pelados. Yo soy asturiana y sé muy bien como son los langostinos y no me gusta que se quieran reir de mi en mi propia cara. Le devolví el plato tal como lo trajo, no solo por los “langostinos “ sino que encima no había quien lo comiera. Por lo tanto recomiendo el hotel como estancia pero el restaurante es para cerrarlo y creo que está muy feo que encima se quieran reír de la gente.

La habitación era perfecta y muy cómoda. Camas agradables. Baño impecable. Calidad/precio son compatibles. Estacionamiento cómodo en el lugar. Ubicación privilegiada y fácil de acceder. Lobby agradable y bien ambientado. Recepción expeditiva.
