The house is original 500 year old architecture, beautifully restored and furnished with lovely items. Fabrice welcomed us in a little living room and recommended restaurants and places to visit. Breakfast was a simple but delicious Juice, bread, pastries , yoghurt and cereal with fresh coffee. Some fresh fruit salad and scrambled eggs cooked to order. We left early on our last day and Fabrice was kind enough to set out a breakfast for us to help ourselves to. Having spent a few days in a small room in Nice for a similar price we were. Delighted with a king sized bed, a big bathroom, small sitting room/single bed and a nice terrace. There were two narrow stairs cases to our room, but not a problem for us. Fabrice did help with our suitcases. The location is on a small street, just around the corner from The Palace De Papes and was within a few hundred meters of squares, restaurants and bars. Several within 50 meters. There was a little street noise in daytime and early evening hours but very quiet at night considering the central location. We had a minor problem with a window blind (my fault) which was dealt with politely and without any fuss. Great service. If we are in Avignon again we will definitely return.
