Bella villa d’epoca vicino al centro di Avignone facile da raggiungere e con possibilità di parcheggiare l’auto (a pagamento) all’interno. Il nostro host molto gentile e disponibile. La camera, seppur datata e con la maquette, era ampia ed accogliente e, particolare non trascurabile, dotata di un ottimo impianto di aria condizionata. Ottima anche la connessione WiFi.

We had a very pleasant stay there at our first foray into the -B&B arena and could not be more satisfied Jean was our host who was extremely accomodating - we had lovely breakfast with fresh croissants every morning - Room was perhaps small to what we as Australians are used to - but having a similar painting in our room which was like the one we have at home allowed us to settle in. Also the family dog made us feel at home We discovered a unknown little church that is only open on Sunday’s- and provided a traditional Latin service - Recommend that you stay here and relax with a class of wine . Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance away from the wind Just a great place to stay. Philip & Elana Jones Brisbane Australia

Our four nights in this lovely villa were wonderful. We stayed in the Nina room, up one flight of stairs, with a large comfortable bedroom, large bathroom, and tall, flower-filled windows opening onto the patio. The hosts were incredibly kind and caring, and glad to share their knowledge of local history, architecture, culture and more. Breakfast on the patio, with fresh fruit and croissants from the market that morning (as well as yogurt and cheese and other bread and preserves), was a lovely way to start the day. It's an easy walk to everything in Avignon, but in a quiet and calm part of the city. Our stay was one of the highlights of our trip.

Located inside the old city of Avignon, on the north side, this hotel — more like a B&B — is a gem. The building is part of the limestone architecture of the ancient city, with a winding staircase and open patios. The rooms are comfortable, clean and had a soothing aura to them at night, much like Avignon in general (the bed was very comfortable.). The owner, Jean-Yves, helped us with directions, reservations and helped us with transportation (eg called a taxi for us); he is fluent in English. His restaurant recommendations were on the mark. The breakfasts were more than eating; we sat with other guests, from Austria, Australia, etc - who were also personable and interesting. Also adding to the great vibe was Luna, Jean-Yves people-loving yellow lab. We had a great stay in Provence, and Jean-Yves was a major reason for it.

When we travel, we look for an affordable bed and breakfast with 1) a good, strong hot shower 2) firm comfortable bed 3) great quiet location that is close and walking distance to everything 4) hospitable and helpful service with laundry option 5) nutritious breakfast Villa de Margot checks all the boxes AND even has Luna, the friendly, very well behaved golden retriever that welcomes you in the morning at breakfast and when you return from a wonderful day in beautiful Avignon. For us, a perfect 10!
