The checkin was awesome we were upgraded- thank you! The guy at check in helped with doors, etc. He told us breakfast was til 930 am for Tuesday morning. We had a problem with the sofabed mattress being disgusting at 1130pm, when we went to setup for our son. It was handled quickly with a new /clean mattress. However the downgraded star is the gentleman at breakfast barking at me when I asked for a plate at 8:55 am. Waiting for a waffle til 9:20! He told me breakfast was closing. Hence no plates when I arrived at 845? I told him I was told 9:30 am so excuse me. But I’ll get some breakfast, if I had a plate. He then had to grill me who would give me that info? That’s soo incorrect! At least 10 people all stated this. So instead of keeping it open til 930. He continued yelling at us; it’s closed. So are great stay now isn’t a great stay due to him! So the gentleman working front desk/breakfast on July 9 barking at multiple people that we are so wrong. We just want breakfast and get on with our day! It was so uncalled for. The beds were comfy, rooms clean, well stocked! And the gentleman at checkin was great the night before very pleasant!

The hotel was just what we needed when we went to Austin for the NASCAR races at COTA. I accidentally left some clothes in the closet when we checked out. I contacted the hotel and advised them of this. They said they would send them to me if I sent them a shipping label. I did and they sent them. I would like to specifically thank one employee - Jeremiah. He went above and beyond to help me out with getting my clothes back. He returned calls and called me when he said he would. Thank you, Jeremiah!!

It is a hotel with a good cp value. There is a kitchen in the room, and the pots and pans are quite complete. There is also breakfast, which can be taken back to the room and eaten by business people. It is very convenient for families with children to live in; It is very comfortable to have a swimming pool. There is a large lawn directly opposite where you can have a picnic. There are also barbecue facilities next to the swimming pool. I like it very much👍👍👍

Marriott seems to be on the decline. This property looks nice from the photos. Only so so in person. First night the airconditioner made a high pitched whine and had to move rooms. Was put on the first floor only to find my room inundated with black crickets. Had to put a towel on the floor to cover the crack between the floor and the front door to try to keep them coming in. When I moved the towel out of the way in the morning to leave the room the towel Was full of black crickets. The other thing is that I will continue to post lowered reviews on properties that do not offer daily housekeeping post covid. The rates at hotels are the same pre covid but have saved money on operational costs by using Covid or labor shortages as a continuous reason. If that’s the case then pass the savings to the customer because we are not getting the same services provided for the same money. Lastly it’s a Marriott thing. Because I don’t agree with this housekeeping change I’ve been staying at other brands for the first time in over 15 years. Cheaper hotels like the Hampton Inn offer daily house keeping as do a number of other hotels. It’s becoming a primary reason on how i pick my hotels going forward. I stayed in the Hampton inn for 4 days immediately following this hotel stay and had housekeeping. This made 34 nights I have stayed in hilton brands this year due to housekeeping policies. If hotels don’t offer housekeeping then they’re just a glorified airbnb. Service gets my money and I’m almost done with this brand for trimming its housekeeping staff and still charging the same high prices they used to when we had housekeeping service.

Well my stay has finally ended at the Residence Inn. Has been there since March 25th. Though I am happy to be moving into a house, there were so many great people that allowed my stay to be memorable. Shout outs to Pauline, Harneet, and Promise for always being very attentive to my needs! Also want to give a shoutout to the Starbucks Team as they made sure my latte was perfect every morning. In closing, I must say that if anyone is looking for quality, friendly people, and great lodging, please check out the Residence Inn as my stay was outstanding! Thank you all!
