This is a good Hampton Inn, but I wouldn’t use it again for a few reasons unless I really needed to be on Washington Road. The pros: I had a room on the 5th (top floor), and the bed was comfortable and the room clean, with a good bathroom and walk-in shower. I needed a room for one night, and got one, at a relatively decent price. Check-in online was easy, and I was pleased to be able to use a digital key, meaning I didn’t even have to stop at the front desk. Breakfast in the hotel was good, and I could checkout using the Hilton app. And it was easy to get into downtown Augusta. The cons: The area around the hotel is busy and crowded with heavy traffic (don’t even think of trying to turn left) and the hotel, nestled well back off the road was hard to find at night, even with GPS. Arriving at 9:15 PM, most parking was taken so I had to park around the side. My king room was smaller than most Hampton Inns, but was fine for just me, but would have been uncomfortable for two, as there was no place to spread out. Nearby I-20 made it noisy, not loud, just a low but constant sound during the night. It didn’t wake me, but when I was awake I always heard traffic. Before breakfast I walked to the nearby Starbucks for a latte and the neighborhood was dirty and littered with trash and beer cans, and little to no sidewalk. Recommendation: The hotel is good, but I have also stayed in the Hampton Inn Augusta West and found the surrounding area better.

Had such a great experience here while traveling through. We picked this based off location (right off I-20), had an outdoor pool, plus a whole patio with games. We were traveling with 3 kids who needed to cool off and have fun after a long trip. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. Everything was very clean. There were plenty of restaurants around to choose from too. We just doordashed and hung by the pool. Definitely recommend!

Newer Hotel in an area I was unsure of it's safety. Because it's back further, it seemed okay, but I wouldn't trust it. Now the hotel is newer and clean and was welcoming. The issue we had with Room 506 (TOP FLOOR even) was the NOISE! WOW, the walls exterior AND interior are paper thin. For a new hotel, it is sad they cut corners on the most important aspect....quietness. The traffic was loud enough to keep even the most sound sleeper awake. The little noise in the hallway was like it was at my pillow....NOISY. And the hotel wasn't busy or exceptionally loud....it was normal conversations and movement....again, paper thin walls, inside AND outside. If I was able to sleep, I would have rated 5 star, but impossible. I would stay again ONLY if I had to due to location. Otherwise I'd look for a more soundproofed building.

The hotel seems to be newer which is good. But there is no wifi. They give you a key card with a slip of paper with the WiFi code knowing there are issues with the WiFi. I called a number and got a case number but no one seems to care that the wifi is down and there is no estimated time for it to be back online. Zero help from guest services. If you need to come here for work, bring your own hotspot.

Very nice stay, room and facilities were as clean or cleaner than most hotels we stay in. Very nice bathroom and room layout. The only problem with the room is the outlets next to the bed are very temperamental. The only other problem we had was, they were running short on key cards so we only had one so when I went out and had to park in the back I was locked out, priority was for my wife to have the key so she could get back in the room while I was out. The good thing was that when I called the clerk for access he was very prompt and friendly about it, thank you Noriega

From the very start, nearly all the employees gave off looks and vibes that we were not supposed to be there. We stayed there a number of years back for over a week to escape a Florida Hurricane. It was wonderful!. So we chose it as 1 of our stops for vacation. I had to ask woman ask front desk if Honors Members receive anything as she did not recognize us. She did not respond, just threw water in a bag & handed it to me. Ok, fine. We get up to the room & the tile floor was so slippery we almost fell. I called the front desk "Oh that is because of the cleaner we use". So, they are aware of the issue and don't check the floors so guests don't fall and hurt themselves? A worker came up and mopped the floor (with same cleaner), did not help, so we just walked very carefully. Also, shortly after we entered the room, a man (recognized as an employee from downstairs) started beating on our door. We opened it and he was already way down the hall. He had come up 1 stairway and went down the hall to another stairway. We had gone downstairs around 4:30 am to walk, workers were setting up the breakfast area. Again, all giving us "what are you doing at our hotel looks". They kept going into a supply room and allowing the door to slam shut very loudly. Keep in mind this is right by hotel guest rooms on the first floor. I remarked to them that "you woke everybody up". One male worker responded with loud laughter, like he was proud of what he was doing. He & his female companion again gave us The Look. Hilton needs to do an "Undercover Boss" episode about the place. The staff needs to be trained on "All Guests Lives Matter".

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. My mom, daughter and I had a great experience. The staff were helpful and kind. Every staff member we encountered greeted us warmly. We appreciated your warm hospitality. Thank you for all you do!

Protect your belonging even regardless of what the hotel states. I was told housekeeping would only be available if requested the day prior. Well I did not think anyone would come into my room and I lost all of my medication as a result of theft. A police report was filed as a result. I then heard from another guest that her belongings were also move although nothing was stolen. As a Diamond member of Hilton I will never stay at the hotel again! I have spent over 20k staying at this hotel over the years and I am extremely frustrated. In speaking with the manager it was simply like staring into a dead fishes eyes. I called the Diamond Desk with Hilton to file a complaint as well. Please protect you your valuables and/or medication.

Blood or dark colored splatter on wall by toilet and toilet paper. Queen size sheets on a king size bed that kept popping off while we were trying to sleep. Longer pieces of hair were in the bed and in multiple clean towels. There was even a clean hand towel that had something brownish orange that either hadn’t been washed or was stained. The carpeting was coming up and looked like it may have been wet at one point. To top it all off there was a TIP JAR in the breakfast area!!!!!
