Fairfield Inn & Suites Augusta Fort Eisenhower Area

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had—and I’ve spent more nights in hotels than at home over the past decade as a Titanium Elite member. Upon arrival, I waited nearly 30 minutes just to get a physical key after the mobile key failed. The man working the front desk, who identified himself as the Assistant GM, was rude, dismissive, and condescending. After follow-up calls and some investigation, I learned he was actually the owner and General Manager, intentionally misrepresenting himself to avoid addressing complaints. Once in the room, the real issues became clear. A used washcloth was on the bathroom floor behind the door, a hair clip left on the nightstand, and a greasy fast-food bag behind the curtain. It was obvious the room hadn’t been cleaned or inspected. This wasn’t a missed corner or stray item—this was a total failure in basic housekeeping. When I tried to report it, I was stonewalled for weeks. Each time I called, I was told the GM was unavailable. The same man answered and continued the deception. This property is being run with zero accountability, no quality control, and no regard for Marriott standards. It was genuinely disturbing.

They stay was good but they stole about 7000.00 worth of tolls from the back of my truck that was park on the premises locks with a túnel cover

Good Air conditioner was quite loud and there was no towel hook otherwise it was good. Friendly staff.

The staff working was very friendly and helpful. No problem with check in. The room and bathroom were clean. I really enjoyed my stay.
