Sehr geschmackvoll restauriertes Chateau (Haus mit umgebendem Landbesitz) mit Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Ein Ort zum Bücherschreiben oder -lesen. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Gutes Frühstück. Gäbe ich überall 5 Sterne, hätte ich fürs Sacher oder Vier Jahreszeiten nichts mehr übrig.

This is a gem of a hotel with such a high standard in every respect. The food is outstanding and so nice to not have the stress of choosing ! Vanessa made us so welcome and we had a lovely walk around the grounds before dinner. Perfectly located for major road networks near Troyes but sufficiently far from the roads that you feel you really are having an extra day of holiday - perfect in every way

Tout d'abord, vos réponses sont truffées d'inexactitudes, de mensonges! Je parlais de moustiques et d'autres insectes!! "Crotte de pigeon" n'est pas un insecte pour ma part... En ce qui concerne ma sensibilité, j'ai mes limites! Au prix de la prestation proposée, je m'y attends à autre chose!!! A propos des chambres, même, s'il y en avait eu une de libre, on ne serait pas resté, à ce prix-là, faute de climatisation! Voilà, encore un exemple de ma délectable "sensibilité"... Profiter de la piscine, pour présenter encore plus de surfaces aux moustiques et/ou à d'autres insectes.... et/ou et j'en passe..!! Noter mon courriel, c'était vraiment pour nous prendre pour des ignorants! Aucun geste commercial, vous avez gardé tout le picaillon déjà réglé (bon-cadeau), sans même penser à l'idée de nous proposer le panier-dîner, déjà payé!!!! Nulle courtoisie de votre part!! Finalement, on n'est pas resté! Après avoir évalué la situation: chaleur considérable, atmosphère insupportable à l'intérieur de la bulle, aucune possibilité d'aérer, pas de climatisation, dès notre arrivée, ravagé par des moustiques et d'autres insectes, on a décidé de partir. Comme il s'agissait d'un bon-cadeau, on a demandé, si on pourrait trouver un arrangement éventuellement pour plus tard? Après quelques discussions pas trop hospitalières de la part de la patronne, elle a finalement noté mon courriel, pour me contacter après avoir spéculé sur la question. Mais hélas,depuis ce mardi, 5 septembre (2023), le jour de notre passage, plus rien, pas de message, aucune manifestation....??!!! C'est décevant et pas digne d'une hôte respectueuse. Les chambres à l'intérieur du château, furent toutes occupées, mais, hélas, pas de climatisation non plus!! Un endroit à ne pas recommander, plutôt à fuir, comme on a fait.

Not far from the city of Troyes, the property is set in an inviting park and owned and run by a very nice couple. There is free parking and an adequate breakfast. Accommodations are rather spartan, thus only four stars.

Nous sommes arrivés le 14 août au château de Montabert, tous d’abord nous avons attendu 15 min pour que quelqu’un nous accueille. Nous avons été emmené à notre bulle au bord de l’étang avec nous plateau repas à 30€ l’unité… Surprise ces mêmes plateaux repas avait déjà 24h donc je vous laisse imaginer l’état du pain… Petite douche pour se détendre et encore une autre petite surprise pas de gel douche, du lait pour le corps est disponible mais pas de gel douche bizarre… C’est l’heure de se coucher, il est vrai que le concept est génial tous simplement magnifique… Malheureusement au réveil, de la pluie nous demandons à avancer le petit déjeuner au téléphone car nous avons rdv, on nous dit oui mais personne arrive, nous rappelons et en plus nous demandons si quelqu’un vient nous chercher pour éviter d’être trempé entre la bulle et le château et on nous répond que non, nous insistons et blasé on nous dit que oui ils viendront nous chercher… Nous rentrons quand même à pied et surprise personne pour payé, le patron parti je règles à une femme de ménage très gentille. Pour résumé, concept super mais service à revoir.
