Twelve Downtown, Autograph Collection

Nice hotel apartment, across from Civic Center station with underground parking. Very good service from front desk staff. A lovely space with coloring area in the lobby, restaurant are precursor to the apartment: full kitchen, living room, dining area, two tvs, balcony and bedroom, kind of classic Marriott style. But unlike Marriott there were no extra towels, bathrobes, slippers or toiletries beyond soap and shower cap. The restaurant hours on the key are incorrect. The restaurant closes at 930pm although front desk said only the kitchen closes at 945pm. Anyway the mix up led to none of our interactions with the reticent restaurant's staff for room service. The restaurant takes a daily siesta too, though the key says weekends only. The 12 doesn't let Door Dash come to the apartment, only the lobby. However, 12 Staff will deliver if anyone's available; otherwise you have to go to the lobby. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

If you are a Marriott loyalist and a platinum elite Bonvoy Member, like me....SKIP THIS PROPERTY! We arrived, with 5 bags...not a bellman in sight. This is supposed to be an Autograph Collection property, right? Check-In was smooth and the agent apologized that there was no one to assist us but offered no explanation. We get to our room, a 2 bedroom suite and it's decent enough but beware, if you have family with you, like I did...THE MASTER BEDROOM DOES NOT HAVE A DOOR. It's open to the sitting area. It's impossible to even watch TV or have a private conversation in there, much less anything else. I noticed that there wasn't any water upon check in. There was also a lack of towels in the room, as well as errant black hairs all over the linens. In the kitchen, there were 2 forks, no steak knives and gunk in the crevices of the refrigerator. Mind you, this is supposed to be an Autograph Collection property. I used the Bonvoy app to request, more towels, some forks and some shower caps. . . No response for two hours. I then decide to go to the front desk and this is where I learn that there isn't any water available for platinum elites. I was invited to purchase water, brought PLASTIC FLATWARE and 3 dry towels and 3 bath cloths. Nothing else. Not to mention, he couldn't have cared less. I spend a lot of money at Marriott properties. I even cashed in a nightly upgrade for this room and I regret it. I will definitely not return to this property. It is NOT Mariott Autograph Collection. I've received better service at a Renaissance in Mobile, AL. I'm very disappointed and even more so that no one seems to care and that's just not something I'm used to when it comes to Marriott. There used to be a time that I believed, if there was something wrong during your Marriott stay; simply let someone know and watch them do what they can to make up for it. Not. Any. More.

The hotel is really good and I would definately return in future. Much like Atlanta in general it needs a car or Uber to get around. The rooms are spacious with lots to offer. It was more of a spacious apartment actually with Hotel service. The service at reception was awsome and the highlight of my stay. Sarah was amazing and she showed so much empathy when our friends at United Airlines left my bags at my departure country, 15 hours away. Sarah kept on checking the status and personally delivered the bag to my room while I was out as I requested. She is my new Hero service manager in so may ways.

My stay was great room was nice clean with a balcony and city view only thing I didn’t like was that the pool area was closed

Beautiful property with all of the amenities of home. Super friendly and accommodating staff.
