Outstanding
Hhelena~~hDuring the last two nights in Japan, I felt the Japanese style. The boss and the boss lady were very nice. When we just checked in, the boss said to us very cutely: ”Wait a minute, my Chinese is not good, I will ask my wife to come out.” Basically, you can ask the boss lady any questions during the two nights you stay. As long as she sees it, she will reply. She also recommended the more beautiful attractions and explained very clearly how many minutes to walk. I visited the recommended attractions, such as the Kamiya Shrine, the Kiunkaku, and the MOA Art Museum. For a day, you can actually take the bus to MOA in the morning and then stroll to the shrine, and then stroll to the Kiunkaku. It's not tiring to go down the mountain all the way. If you still have the energy, continue to walk for a few minutes and go to the beach in the afternoon. It's very comfortable to go on a one-day trip. When you leave the store, as long as the boss has time, he can help you send you to the station. The boss lady also specifically told you that you can still ask her if you need anything. I saw many comments before that the boss lady is from Northeast China, but you can't tell at all. She is so gentle. In addition, the restaurant recommended by the boss is also great. In short, it is very practical and convenient to live here in Atami.
GGuest UserGreat place to stay and relax!
Pros. Have a lot of free services and amenities e.g. free shuttle bus from JR Atami station, Comic room, Free boardgame to use. The best thing of this hotel is food meal! They serve all you can eat snack& drink alcohol served for free at 15-18pm. The buffet both dinner and breakfast are very superb. The dinner is all you can eat BBQ seafood (abalone, crab, shells, shrimp) that you can ask for abalone unlimited, lisewise the breakfast is all you can eat BBQ fish (Kinmedai,Saba, Ham&Sausage) with salad. I do recommend this hotel if you want to have great seafood meal with alcohol.
Cons. Very small onsen
GGuest UserService is excellent. Once we called them at Atami Train Station, their car arrived in 10 mins to pick us up. The free ride from/to train station is very helpful. Free drinks and snacks during happy hours 3-5pm is very good. We have seafood, beef, fish and semi buffet for dinner. The beef was good. Fish is okay. Overall the services are very good and staffs can speak English that made it easy to communicate. The ocean view from our room is beautiful.
GGuest UserThe food was so good! I was really moved. It is a seaside town. Unlimited seafood, freshly grilled and eaten, so great! There is a semi-open-air hot spring, which is very comfortable. I soaked in it twice a day, haha! The room is very spacious. It is a Japanese-Western style room for three people. In fact, it can also accommodate five people. The tatami is very spacious, more than enough to sleep three people.
GGuest UserThe way the shuttle bus driver at the station handled the situation sounded and looked arrogant. ”There's only one attendant, so don't press me!” said the attendant. I know it can't be helped that there's only one, but I think there's a way to say it. So I didn't want to ride it, and took a taxi at my own expense. About 1500 yen.
When I arrived, there were not many receptionists, so I might have to wait a while, but I was able to get there right away. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the windows were large and very comfortable.
However, there were a lot of mosquitoes, and I was bitten a lot. When I called the front desk, the front desk and the room attendant didn't answer the internal line, so I called from my cell phone.
They told me to come and get some insecticide.
Overall, I got the impression that most of the staff were new.
I'm grateful that I was able to stay at such a cheap hotel, but it was disappointing that they were so rude. Of course, there were also nice staff, so it was even more disappointing.
CCYYTheir service is wonderful. We left a charger in our room and they quickly locate it and return it. I understand that they use a plastic bag to hold all customer property left in their room and labelled it with dates and room no. This shows how they care about their customers and address to things systemically with every single details. This is one of the many times I forgot things in hotel and public transport and can get things back every time. Speechless!
RrinnリンThe bathroom is surprisingly clean. The location is good and not far from JR, but there is a slope. There is only one bathroom. The boys' bathing time is too short. They will not have enough time to take a bath after returning from the fireworks festival. Basic toiletries, disinfectants, etc. are all provided. Anyway, there are many charged items, so it’s best to bring your own. Breakfast is a bowl of Ochazuke rice with an egg. The self-service option includes dishwashing. If you don’t have any requirements for breakfast, you can consider it.
YYuanzhongwuyingbuxierenI want to praise this hotel!
I was a little nervous when booking, because there were not many reviews on kkr, and it was not as popular as other hotels, but I fell in love with it the moment I walked in!
First of all, the service was really enthusiastic. From the cold Tokyo to Atami, every waiter was like the sunshine in Hawaii. The uncle at the front desk checkin introduced the precautions in detail in the best English speaking of this trip, and also recommended hot springs and Kaiseki. We had a good chat. The waiters for breakfast and dinner were also very considerate. If you want to take pictures, they will come to help. The hotel bus to the station runs twice a day, and every time the whole hotel comes out to see you off. The atmosphere is really good.
Secondly, the geographical location is within walking distance from the station. Go downhill in the direction of Yujuku Ichiban and pass the short tunnel. The main entrance of the hotel is on the second floor. Every room faces the sea, with a super large sea view balcony. If you don’t want to go out, you can sit on the balcony to watch the sea view sunrise and sunset. I must recommend the Japanese-style room. Tatami is really more comfortable than the bed. Don’t doubt it. The area is also very large. The room has a hot water machine and an ice machine. Huge entrance and three-part bathroom, all towels, bathrobes, socks and toiletries bags for hot springs are free
The second is hot springs. Who doesn't come to Atami for hot springs? The hotel's main attraction is the starry sky hot spring. The hot spring space on the top floor of the 7th floor is huge. From the lounge to the locker room to the hot spring pool, you can see the sea view. The starry sky theme of the outdoor women's hot spring can quietly watch the sunrise slowly rising over the sea in the morning, and the fishing boats go out to sea. At night, you can watch the sunset and the stars. The artistic conception is very good. It is perfect for thinking about life or emptying your mind. There are not many people, and you can often enjoy it alone. The hot spring water in Izu is also top-grade
Finally, the hotel has unlimited vegetables and fruits for breakfast, which is too precious. The kaiseki dinner has the seasonal specialty golden eye snapper, which is delicious. There are also specialties from Shizuoka and Izu for sale in the lobby. It's not expensive. The hotel also sends some specialties to the room to try
Izu Peninsula, a place I should come again next time!
CConstantin Maximilian+:
The service was really kind and let me check in even though the beds weren't made since I was way too early.
The location is really nice not too far away from the train station and close to the sea side promenade and beach.
Luggage store room under bed was quite spacious
They have an extra room with a small billard table
-:
only one shower and toilet for men (same for women), so you had to wait sometimes, the most in the morning before check out.
Entrance is hard to find in a dark small alley in the corner of a street.
PPumpkinOverall, it could be rated excellent as a local ryokan but may not be ready for international clients. It has won Rakuten bronze award 2023. I am particular about smoking and the non smoking room was full of smoky smell. Also surprised that I have to set up my own tatami bed etc. Staff dependent on google translate but stranded when there's no WiFi. They could have translated common phrases in text. Nice garden.
