The trip to Aso was my favorite day of this trip to Japan. It was a wise choice to stay here overnight.
This hotel is not very big, but it is very comfortable. The reception is very warm. If you call them in advance, they will send a car to pick you up.
The hotel room is quite large, and the view outside the window is the hotel's large lawn and mountain view, which is very artistic.
The dinner and breakfast buffets are very rich.
There is Kumamon in the lobby for taking photos.
The bathing environment is very good and large.
In general, it is highly recommended

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in Aso, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely stunning—nestled in the heart of Aso’s beautiful nature, with breathtaking views right from the room. The hotel’s onsen was a highlight, offering a relaxing and peaceful way to soak in the scenery. The food was also incredible, with delicious local dishes that really captured the flavors of the region. The vibes throughout the hotel were warm and cozy, making it feel like a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle.
The only downside was that the bed was a bit small for two people, so it felt a little tight. But everything else more than made up for it. The hotel also offers plenty of parking, so getting around was easy. The price was definitely reasonable for the experience, and given the amazing views, great food, and tranquil onsen, it felt like a great value. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of Aso!

Amazing stay. If you have a car I recommend here. The dinner and breakfast was amazing and the staff were super friendly. I spoke a little Japanese and they were so patient with me practicing. The outdoor onsen was the best I’ve stayed at and I could even see some stars at night!
Only down side was there was no wall plug next to my bed.
Only recommendations is I wish Onsen had ‘adult only’ bathing time as a Single female traveler I’m not the biggest fan of children during my bathing time because of noise.
