Our stay in Arusha
It was a really good stay! They have a three bed room and it was so convenient. The view from the lodge reception is incredible that we were hardly in our room. All the staff were really welcoming and we made friends with them all, making the stay so much better!

The property was lush with beautiful plants, flowers, and sculptures. Plus monkeys!!

Locatie is mooi, je kijkt over Arusha en mount Meru. Communicatie en wachttijden op eten en drinken zijn niet okay. 1,5 uur op lunch, om 15,00 uur werd gevraagd wat we voor diner wilden en het tijdslot. Een cocktail duurt minstens 20 minuten. Zelfs bij het boeken van een tijdslot kwam de lunch een half uur later. Door gebrekkige communicatie heb je als gast het gevoel niet heel welkom te zijn. Dat is jammer, locatie is verouderd, maar heeft potentie. Vergeleken met andere locaties in Tanzania vonden we hier de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding aan de hoge kant.

Heel mooi en rustig gelegen Lodge, superleuk personeel en de chef in de keuken is zo enorm trots op z'n eten, het is ook heerlijk!! Echt een aanrader om te vertoeven🤩vanuit hier kun je ook bezoekje brengen aan Arusha. Wij hebben hier met veel plezier ons verblijf in Tanzania afgesloten.

An absolutely beautiful hotel! It sits on top of a mountain side with these beautiful rooms that overlook the hills. The room was very comfortable and it had a great restaurant bar area as well as pool area and an incredible massage. The staff was spectacular. I want to give a special shout out to Farouk and Simon. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful with everything that we needed. Our stay would not have been the same without these two people. I highly recommend getting a massage while you’re there as it was one of the best I’ve had. I look forward to coming back one day, be sure to enjoy the friendly monkeys!

We had a nice stay for two nights at the lodge. Rustic and comfortable! Staff was very accommodating and helped us with any details that we needed. Breakfast and dinner were very good too. Beds were excellent! I highly recommend trying out Karama Lodge.

Very nice rustic cabins with comfortable beds and beautiful views. I found it relaxing and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a perfect place to explore Arusha, as it’s close to downtown, yet far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
