The Arusha Planet Lodge gets my 5 star rating for excellence in customer service including Rebecca & Juliet at the reception desk. Yona, at the breakfast buffet, made me a delicious omelet & pancakes. When I asked for assistance pushing my wheelchair to the reception desk, he took it upon himself to help. When we were here on February 26th, Ronald & Charles of the management staff, was amazing and helped us with numerous transports. He was very attentive to our needs. Lavina helped me so much yesterday -from greeting us with hibiscus juice to helping me to my room in the wheelchair. She was also the person from the restaurant who delivered my friend's beer and served me dinner. She showed exceptional kindness & compassion, delivering my leftovers from dinner, because I could not carry them. I received one of best massages I have ever had in my entire life from Seke at the Arusha Planet Lodge spa. After traveling for over 30 hours to get to Arusha, she made all my aches & pains go away. That was no small feat because I have a knee ligament injury and was in a great deal of pain! Her massage was so healing and impressive that I am getting another today. I can hardly wait to get a massage from her and go rest poolside before I take a long nap. Later today we fly to London and this day of relaxation and rest will be important in helping us heal and prepare for the next part of our travel trip. The Arusha Planet Lodge provided us a warm welcome, superb customer service in all departments from reception, food & beverage and management. They also offered us a calm, relaxing place to recover from our safari adventures and a warm send off from Africa. Staying here will be among my fondest memories of the wonderful African style of hospitality we experienced!!!
