We sepnt one wonderful night at the African Tulip before our safari. I immediately regretted my decision night to spend two nights! It was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff was charming and prefessional. We especially enjoyed dinner and our first taste of ugali. Would recommend this property without hesitation!

The African Tulip was a perfect and most pleasant springboard for our Tanzanian safari. We returned for another night's stay after the safari and our travel weariness disappeared in no time. Lovely spacious rooms with all the functionality that one requires. Nice location and friendly staff.. Our request for extended checkout was graciously met. Thanks to all.

My son and I met in Arusha, staying at the African Tulip for 2 nights before our 7-day safari and then 2 nights after. We could not have enjoyed our stay more - honestly. The staff was incredible. Every one of them was super friendly and very eager to help in any way they can. The room was very clean and very comfortable (the shower was fantastic!!) and the food was really good, even for a picky eater like myself. I can't recommend it enough. If I ever get back to Arusha, I won't even look any place else - I've found the perfect spot!

Fantastic hotel - stunning rooms, gardens and the staff are amazing! We arrived after a long day safari tour in the late afternoon (around 4pm) and they opened the restaurant for us early so we could eat. They were absolutely lovely and first rate service. Highly recommend!

Spent a couple of weeks in Tanzania hiking Kili and going on safari. The African Tulip was our base while there. The rooms were clean and comfortable but what makes the Tulip stand out is the staff. The friendliness and eagerness to please was outstanding from the front desk, bell boys, and restaurant staff. Thanks for making my son and I feel special. Special shout out to restaurant manager Mr. Pathak Deepanshu. He made a point to check in on us at every meal, his friendly and attentive demeanor provided care and was never overwhelming. Thanks

This was one of the most amazing hotel experiences we have ever had. I arranged travel from the US for my solo traveling daughter. The staff at The African Tulip went above and beyond in their concern and care for her. Benjamin, in particular, but the entire staff, including Peris and the hotel driver, Walter, were kind, attentive, accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure our daughter's safety as well as her comfort. They also connected us with their local travel partner, Halima, from Roy Safaris, who helped arranged a fantastic afternoon for our daughter visiting an Arusha/Tengeru coffee center. The staff kept me aware of our daughter's arrival and also any potential issues with timing. They held onto her luggage when she had to join her professor for several days. They arranged transport to and from both Kilimanjaro and Arusha airports. And they did everything with politeness and kindness and an eye for maximum safety (such as sending a photo of the driver's ID prior to pick up). We could not have been more happy and grateful for the staff at The African Tulip.

Stayed from 19th--22nd sept i.e 3 nights and this was my 5th time to stay in these small exclusive hotel. Rooms are spacious and restaurants services are great. Notice the hotel have changed there Menu and added many new dishes. Also, they start breakfast from 6.00 am.. Very friendly staff and bar services is great.

The African Tulip is a gorgeous hotel in lovely Arusha. This is the most hospitable hotel I have ever stayed at. They are very concerned with your comfort, and they want you to have everything you need. I plan to stay here again when I am passing back through.
