Kibokolodge voelt als een thuiskomen. Wat een prachtige lodges en wat een geweldige rustgevende omgeving. De verzorging is uitstekend en het personeel is behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Altijd een lach. De lodges staan tussen de bananenbomen, prachtige struiken en het uitzicht op Mount Meru is adembenemend.

Tolle, mitten in der Natur gelegene Lodge mit Blick auf den Zweit höchsten Berg von Tansania, den Mount Meru. Super freundliches, aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal in einer familiären Atmosphäre. Sehr gutes und schmackhaftes Essen zu günstigen Preisen. Saubere Unterkunft. Immer wieder gerne.

We very much enjoyed the peace and quiet, the beautiful surroundings with the many colourful birds and the breathtaking view of Mount Meru, visible from every terrace. The rooms were well-kept and had all the necessary amenities. The food was simply but very tasty. We will always keep fond memories of our breakfast at the teahouse. Staff is exceptionally friendly, very approachable and always ready to be of service. This lodge is the ideal starting point for a safari in Arusha NP. We'd love to visit again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay during christmas here. Lovely staff and the tour guide that went on a walk with us is a legend! The atmosphere is amazing and peacefull. Diner was also very nice, just like the breakfest. A must to visit when you plan to visit this Area!

Ondanks dat we de enige gasten waren voelden we ons meer dan welkom. De mooie authentieke lodges staan in een prachtige omgeving. De bushwalk met gids Hillary was fantastisch! Wat een innemende jongen. Maar al het personeel was super lief! We logeerdenTijdens kerst hier. Er werd speciaal voor ons een heerlijke maaltijd gekookt en als afsluiting werden we via een kaarsjespad naar een kampvuur geleid en werden we getrakteerd op een prachtige onvergetelijke sterrenhemel! Echt een aanrader deze accomodatie.

Best View Ever
The views of Mt Meru and the surrounding bush country were magnificent. The grounds include banana, papaya, mango, pineapple and avocado plants/trees, all of which enhance the experience.
The staff were extremely attentive and polite. All speak English. We loved the food so much my wife wanted to bring the chef home (joking of course, but high praise). The lodge staff were trained as part of a program to provide a good livelihood to local residents who otherwise would have limited opportunities.
While the lodge is remote (not in Arusha city), it is close to Arusha National Park, and lodge staff will provide driving tours (for extra cost), which is well worth it.

We spent two nights with my wife at Kiboko Lodge and it was magic! The environment and the rooms are beautiful, the staff are such nice and friendly persons, food is delicious, the best place we have stayed around Arusha so far! We will definitively come back :)

Not enough for the price
I like that it is helping to support children who are out of school and teach them a skill. However, the cøeanliness and the accommodations are sub par for the price. There is also no option for the food and that is exceptionally expensive. If you want the students to gain a real skill, teach them what good hospitality, cleanliness and service really mean so they can be the best. The location is also right by the swamp so there are lots of mosquitos. I know they try to be environmentally friendly but they are filling glass bottles with plastic water to look environmentally friendly. I would rather drink straight from a fresh plastic bottle.
