Beautiful gardens surrounding the rooms. Small boutique hotel with outstanding staff. Great place to relax. Stroll around the grounds, ride on the boat in their private lake. Hiking trails from the grounds. Option of eating in beautiful surroundings overlooking the lake or inside. Food is outstanding. We had 6 in our group so it was served family style. Soup was our favorite although all meals excellent. Rooms were beautifully decorated with mosquito netting.

This was the most beautiful lodge I've ever stayed in. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and were blown away by the nature, how clean and lowkey everything was, and how friendly the staff were. It was extremely private and relaxing, the food and service was incredible. We honestly thought we were dreaming. We were NOT expecting to love it as much as we did, but now we are planning to come back to Tanzania and stay at Ngare Sero exclusively.

Beautiful grounds, very lovely. However, our room (#2 garden view) was not great. The shower is dangerous as adjusting the temperature can result in either cold water or scalding hot water. The latter is the danger. Also, the hot water knob (metal) also gets extremely hot and can easily burn fingers, as it did for both my wife and I. When we arrived, it also took a very long time for our lunch to arrive. We were told the kitchen was closed, when clearly it was not, and we could only get sandwiches (which was fine). However, it took about 30 minutes for our cold sandwiches and french fries to arrive. We discussed these issues with management and to their credit, they were very apologetic and comped both our lunch and dinner. I give them kudos for that but really cannot recommend this lodge to anyone.

This property is beautiful as is the staff! Everything about our stay here was fabulous. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy. The staff went above for all of our needs. This was our favorite place to stay during our 3 weeks in Tanzania. Highly Recommmend!

Hôtel parfait pour passer une journée de transit avant de partir en Safari. Située en pleine forêt à proximité de la ville. Les repas sont excellents et pris généralement en bord d’un petit étang. Quelques singes dans le parc mettent de l’animation. Personnel au petit soin. Vraiment charmant.

Stayed here before heading out on our week long safari. The staff was very friendly and always eager to assist. We stayed in main building rooms. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. We loved how they spread out meal locations so meals felt private.

El sitio es espectacular. El personal muy amable. Y las comidas muy buenas todas ellas. Nos encantó la experiencia. Nos alojamos en una doble y una triple y estaban muy cuidadas. El entorno está muy cuidado y el hotel plenamente integrado en la naturaleza. El lago de la entrada era muy bonito y los comedores repartidos por el hotel estaban muy bien.
