We stayed for one night. The lodge is beautiful with a nice garden. However the road to the lodge is quite difficult to reach if it raining or has rained. If you managed the off triad it is very close to the airport. Service and staff are very friendly. Dinner and breakfast is very good.

Lodge Olerai is a dream place: authentic, atmospheric, and with incredible hospitality. As a vegetarian I was truly spoiled with creative, delicious dishes – the chef is outstanding! The road to the lodge? This is Tanzania, not Europe – for us, it only added to the charm. A unique place full of peace and kindness. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed here for one night following a safari and it far exceeded our expectations based on the reasonable price. The grounds were pretty, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Our server Peter was very attentive and friendly- thanks Peter! It’s very conveniently located about 15 minutes from Arusha airport so it’s a great 1-night stay on your way in or out of Arusha. Thank you!
