Luckily we were only staying one night. We decided to up grade to a suit as it the last night of our holiday. Positive - the location is perfect. Located down a Back street off one of the main roads, and walking distance to the main squares of Arras. Negatives - where to start! I would not call the room a suit. It was a below standard room with a sofa in! The room was dirty. The furniture dirty, warn, chipped and marked. The bathroom door did not open fully because the door handle hit the room door handle. The bathroom was dirty, dirty lip stick marked glass above the toilet and a used paper cup by the sink. The shower was mouldy. The view from both windows was of nothing but a roof, which was in touching distance!! Out side the room we were shocked that the fire alarm was broken and hanging off the wall. I can’t comment about the food as we chose to avoid the food, given the standards of the room. The staff in reception on arrival and departure were polite, but that’s as far as it went. Not very welcoming, no smiles to greet us. When checking out early the following morning as we just wanted to leave, we weren’t asked if we had a pleasant stay etc. We were left feeling extremely disappointed and dirty from staying in the room. I would not recommend this hotel at all, not least because of the fire safety.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is old, but clean and well presented, quirky and full of character. My room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good and we had safe and secure parking for our motorcycles, in the courtyard. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Only negative, the lad working the bar was slow serving and not particularly helpful, really seemed as if everything was too much bother for him.

A comfortable, if slightly dated, corporate hotel slap bang in the centre of Arras, convenient for facilities and sightseeing in the area. My team of eight needed a base for one night in early May from which to explore the WW1 1917 battlefields east of the city. Parking our 9-seater minibus in their courtyard overnight was no bother to them, for a small fee, although a bit tight. Rooms were not expensive, but not inexpensive either, given my own attic room was a bit cramped and had little in the way of privacy curtains. But mold on the sealant in the shower tray is an absolute no-no for a four star hotel costing €145 per night. Staffing seamed a bit tight too; on a couple of occasions I had to go in search of someone to serve drinks at the start of the evening and the bar was closed when we returned from dinner later on. Breakfast wasn't expensive although, again, I had to chase the only staff member staff to keep the cooked element of it stocked up. We may have caught them on a bad day. But four star hotels shouldn't have bad days. Convenience to the centre of Arras is its best usp, but my three stars for them was only just so.

Room was very dated, leopard print curtains and lamps is a bit bold compared to what has been shown in photos! The room was very tired and bathroom in major need of revamp. The bed was very comfortable though. Suituated very well though, did get a space in the carpark but prebooked this. Very quiet at night though did need the fan which was provided as the room was very hot.

Staff friendly and attentive. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Room small with unsuitable tired furniture. No luggage stand, but writing desk provided instead. No air conditioning, fan provided. Breakfast was basic but good. Restaurant waiter was helpful and accommodating. Overall pleasant stay but quite pricey compared to other places. Private secure parking available at a fee. Short walk to Belfry and picturesque square with restaurants and bar.

Great location and very friendly Had a brilliant stay for two nights and completely happy. Great location and a motorcycle friendly hotel, highly recommended.
