We were a large group that stayed at this hotel for several days last week. We know the hotel well, as we have been staying there for several years. This year I was extremely impressed by the family atmosphere that has prevailed there since the change to the upper floor. We were given a very warm welcome at the hotel and the service was top notch. Above all, Reto, who had everything under control and, no matter how hectic it was, always had a smile on his face and was in a good mood. The food was served quickly, even though we were a large group, and, of course, what is very important, it was excellent. Above all, a lot of attention is paid to detail and that sets this hotel apart from other hotels (today). The nice ladies and gentlemen at the bar and in the service (whose name I unfortunately can't remember, sorry) were also very friendly. We had a great week at the Hotel Sunstar and would like to thank everyone who spoiled us during the week from the bottom of our hearts for their efforts and certainly also for the overtime they put in for us. :) Since I also worked in a hotel a few years ago, I know how happy it is to receive positive feedback. For this reason, I wanted to take a few minutes to thank this great hotel and its employees. Keep up the good work and you will definitely move towards number 1 in this rating. :) Sandra

Exceptional. An experience more than a stay. The hotel is perfect for the little ones and at the same time comfortable for us parents. The restaurant is also excellent with refined dishes and a remarkable wine list. The service was of the highest level, Aurora was able to satisfy our every need as well as all the guys on the staff always ready to listen. Thank you for the truly special days spent with you. Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Sunstar Arosa war eine wundervolle Erfahrung. Wir fühlten uns von Anfang an herzlich willkommen und als Teil der Familie. Das familiäre Ambiente hat uns ebenso begeistert wie der Indoorpark, der Pool und Wellnessbereich. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch, insbesondere die Salatsauce und das Frühstücksbuffet haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich auch die wunderschöne Umgebung - man ist zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten in der Bilderbuch-Schweiz, Natur pur, das Bärenland und der Eichhörnliweg, ist vor allem für die Kinder ein Traum. Das Hotel hat definitiv das gewisse Etwas und ist sehr empfehlenswert. Wir freuen uns schon darauf, bald wieder dort zu übernachten.

We loved this hotel, booked through the Swiss Holiday company. The room was great (we were upgraded) and the food was wonderful - comprehensive breakfast and a lovely evening meal. What made this hotel stand out though was the quality of the staff. From the the start we were treated like friends, and on check in, instead of standing at a counter filling in our details after a long and tiring journey, we were invited to sit down, relax, have a cup of tea while Michael took our details and outlined the hotel's facilities. The waiting staff were wonderful, especially Reto, and Jenny (from Canada) . There was even a hotel shuttlebus to take you to the cable car or station. Definitely recommend.

Great family hotel, huge gym for children to let off steam including ninja course, swimming pool with steam shower, bowling alley, children's program in the evening, great food, highly recommended. Skiing - we were lucky and the rush for the transfer bus was minimal - we know it differently... Advantage: you can safely leave the car behind, as there are regular transfers to the train station / Weisshornbahn.
