Het ontwerp van het huisje is prachtig. Het is minimalistisch ingericht met een maximaal uitzicht op de bossen. Koffie, thee etc is aanwezig en zelfs theelichtjes en lucifers voor sfeer. Wij zaten in nummer 23. De verwarming mag je gerust op 25 graden zetten om het 21 graden te laten zijn. De vloerverwarming is erg traag maar heerlijk aan de voeten. Het ontbijt is heerlijk gevarieerd en gezellig. Het bedienend personeel is erg vriendelijk. Het is zeer aan te raden een avond te gaan eten bij Il Lupo. Absoluut voortreffelijk en we voelden ons zeer welkom. Dan ons minpunt. We zouden er 2 nachten blijven maar dat werd er slechts 1. De bedden zijn ontzettend hard. We hadden beide al na een paar uur de nacht in last van "slapende onderdelen" pijnlijke schouders en heupen. Na een gebroken nacht hebben we toch maar voor een andere plek gekozen. (De allereerste keer ooit voor ons) We hebben netjes ons geld terug gekregen. Alle bedden zijn overigens hetzelfde, daarom was wisselen voor ons geen optie.

We found this easy to find unlike other reviewers; go past the various barns and houses to the very end of the lane and turn right where you see the small sign. Very friendly check in. Our lodge was no 6 (described as Bosrand type) and was very comfortable in a peaceful location. One side of the lodge is full windows facing the forest and in summer the windows can open up. As it was winter, we made use of the heated flooring and radiator and it was very cosy. There is a small kitchenette with 2 hob rings, kettle, coffee machine, small fridge. Enough equipment for basic cooking - being picky a toaster would be useful. We didn’t take the breakfast option which was €15pp, instead we made our own scrambled eggs. The bed was large and comfortable, with blackout curtains making the place very dark & quiet (except occasional extractor fan and boiler noise). The Tv was a bit difficult to use but eventually worked out how to log in to Netflix. We rented E-bikes to visit Veluwe which is a short cycle away. Entry to the park is €13 and there are free bikes within but we were glad of the electric ones! Plenty of other attractions nearby incl burgers zoo, open air museum & Arnhem. We ate in Il lupo one night, which is intimate (maybe 10 tables) but cosy and seemed fully booked so definitely reserve. The menu is limited (handful of pizza & pasta dishes) but the food was delicious as was the Aperol spritz & wine. The whole site is tranquil and well located with friendly staff - I would visit again.

Perfect quite getaway
Perfect getaway , staff were very helpful and friendly.
If there was a comfy sofa and comfortable outdoor seating it would be 5* all day long.
We really did enjoy our selfs.
We will definitely return.

Die Anlage ist mitten im Wald, sehr modern und sauber. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen für die die es gern ruhig haben und gern in der Natur sind. Natürlich sollte man man irgendwie mobil sein.

Heerlijk ontprikkelen in het bos.
Heerlijk een paar dagen opgeladen in de bossen. We verbleven met onze 7 weken oude baby en dit was heerlijk! We konden een babybedje bij boeken. Het uitzicht vanaf de lodge is fantastisch. Wij komen zeker een keertje terug. Ook het ontbijt is ideaal, rond 8.30 stond de picknick mand voor de deur, gevuld met lekkere producten. Heerlijk!

Sehr schön im Grünen am Waldrand gelegen. Manche Lodges haben einen direkten Blick aus dem Bett in den Wald. Man kann Fahrräder ausleihen und die Umgebung erkunden. Das Frühstück war super, auch viel Auswahl für Vegetrarier und Veganer. Alles in allem hat es und sehr gut gefallen.
