As Bizar-Bazar has prevented me from writing a review on their page and seems to have taken it offline, let’s see if we can share this in the area. Where to even begin. We got married at Bizar-Bazar and we had an amazing day but that was only by our own doing and because we are laidback people that can handle and absolute stale ham sandwich of a person that is the owner of this venue. The owner sold and closed the restaurant after we had booked the venue and forgot to tell us. When we wanted to come over for a test meal, we were rudely informed of this. We booked directly with the caterer that we were forced to work with. She wanted to charge us WAY more per person even though we signed a contract for lower costs we met her half way. When we sorted out everything with the caterer she had condescending comments on the food we chose. I wasn’t allowed to get my hair and make up done at the venue in the morning because I wasn’t allowed to disturb other guests even though we had rented out the entire building and all of its rooms. I ended up having to get a key card to enter the building but I wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone or make noise and I wasn’t allowed to give my make up artist a drink because having the decency to make 1 person a cup of coffee is beyond her capabilities. The room we had was a mess. There were no curtains. There wasn’t a mirror. When I asked if she had one or if I could bring one, she said “use the toilet”. Ah yes, how very bridal. A handyman came into the dressing room where me and my bridesmaids were getting ready and were not fully clothed. She had sent him into the room. She showed up wearing a completely white outfit which was the only ask from our guests, to please not show up in white. She refused to serve custom cocktails which is what we discussed when we booked the location. We then took this into consideration and changed the custom drinks to a rum and coke, a gin and tonic and a Fanta. This was too difficult to accommodate and we were called unrealistic to expect such items and ungrateful to bar staff. We provided a full plan of the day with activities planned out to the minute and our own people in charge not to disturb her staff. We went to the venue to discuss the entire plan during an appointment and she took notes. We sent a digital copy of the plan and printed it out for her. She still had the audacity to say we had not informed her of our plans for the day. Our guests were not allowed to order drinks and were shouted at when they were welcomed into the venue because she did not plan any staff to be present to serve the drinks. She made loud noises throughout our ceremony which can be clearly heard in the video recording we have of it. Thanks for inserting yourself into less than the one hour of the day it took to actually get married with the loud clattering behind the bar that was too difficult to operate when you were supposed to serve the guests. She was rude to our guests, shouted at guests, r
