One massive problem with this hotel. Which is a real shame as everything else was great. There is a sizeable Chicken farm with multiple cockerels/roosters right next to it. If your room is near the farm, one one of the “rooster suites” as other reviewers have called it then expect loud cockadoodledoo every few minutes from before dawn every night. They just don’t stop! Even with earplugs in we could hear them, so if sleep is an important part of your holiday I would get a guarantee from the hotel you will not be in a “rooster suite”. We asked after the first night to be moved to a different quieter room and the stroppy early morning receptionist said no chance as the hotel was full all week and the birds were “everywhere”. We got TUI involved and still no joy. After several days of complaining to TUI they offered to move us to another hotel but at our cost and as it would take days so there was no point. Such a shame as waiting and barstaff were brilliant, lovely hotel and location but when you are sleep deprived it is hard to appreciate these things. Ruined our holiday . If you are a deaf, heavy sleeping alcoholic you should be fine !

Recently had 10 lovely nights in this hotel. The hotel was ideally situated for us. A nice 5-10 minute stroll into Tsilivi where all the bars and restaurants are but just far enough out to be peaceful at night. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, grounds are kept in nice condition. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean and the friendly maids clean them every day and change towels/ bedding every 3 days. There is a hairdryer, fridge, kettle and ironing board provided in the rooms. The breakfast was ok and we enjoyed the omelettes and scrambled eggs that were made to order. We will certainly return to this hotel and look forward to visiting again soon. Yamas.

Forget all the gripes about this hotel , it really is a little gem .Superbly run by Spirios and his staff .Breakfast is great , lots of choices, superbly managed by Anna and her staff .The pool is lovely and clean and the sunbeds cleaned every day after use. The room was spacious , mattress great and a good power shower . The views from this hotel are too die for and it was to wake up to them each morning. Had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend this hotel for those wishing to visit Zante .

Very enjoyable stay at this pleasant hotel. Attractive setup round the very clean pool. Our room was light and airy facing north so it wasn't too hot on the balcony at tiffin time. Just a few steps up as it was on the first floor. We had a good sized new looking fridge and kettle plus mugs. Great as we like our morning tea. Unfortunately the air con unit belonging to the apartment nextdoor puffed out warm air, I just positioned the shutter in front of it. The a/c unit from the room above leaked onto the large flat area in front of us but it wasn't a problem. We actually didn't use ours, preferring to leave the windows ajar. Also above us there were smokers which wouldn't have bothered us but the ash ended up on our balcony shelf. Just thoughtlessness that's all. And it only happened a couple of times. The lovely cleaning staff did a brilliant job in that heat. Very impressed. We only used the bar once as we ate and drank out mostly. But it was nice with friendly staff. The sunbeds on some days were full but we didn't sit round the pool much. Nice to have the grassy area. Glad the hotel was out of town albeit on the main road as the resort is quite lively. Would recommend this adult only hotel.

This was our 3rd year in a row at Sunrise hotel, which speaks volumes. It is a lovely hotel, in a location that is in easy reach of the restaurants & bars (15 min walk) & not much further to the beach. The first 2 years coming here were all inclusive, but this year it changed to bed & breakfast, which was fine for us as we like to got out. The grounds were well maintained, the pool was clean & we always managed to obtain 2 sunbeds together (with cushioned mattresses). The room was adequate with ample storage space, shower worked fine, daily maid service & clean towels. We had an upstairs room, which was not an issue for us, though I have read reviews where it can be a problem to some guests who have mobility issues as there are no lifts. During the day, when drinks were ordered at the pool bar, staff brought them over to us at our sunbeds, often along with a small bowl of complimentary crisps. The card machine at the bar was out of order throughout our stay, so they asked us to sign a receipt & we paid each evening at reception for the drinks we'd had that day, which was no problem. Bar staff & reception staff were pleasant, polite & helpful. Not much happened in the evening at the hotel, with only a few in the bar area, some people sat on their balcony's but we headed out each evening for a meal & drinks in the lovely town which we really enjoyed; there are some lovely tavernas & bars. A lovely relaxing holiday in a lovely hotel & we would definitely return. Thank you Sunrise staff.
