For what paid, it wasn't bad at all. The only downsides were the bathroom, the maid not cleaning our bedroom floor, and the snack bar. The bathroom needs to be tiled it wasn't pleasant at all. The shower was awful from boiling hot to freezing cold. When we did request room clean, which was twice in the week, we expected the floor to be cleaned/mopped, but it wasn't which left clothes and shoes dusty. I actually used a damp towel to go over the floor. You also might want to take your own towel to dry with as sometimes they had wrips in and were discoloured. The snack bar was awful really needs to be looked at, especially from the chef old sandwich, all ham.and cheese. Pasta pots and old fruit pots Also, I think the government needs to look at what tax we pay to stay. The pools are lovely but could do with a bar by the adult pool. I would stay again, but things could be improved.

Enjoyed our stay at the Altura. Food delicious with plenty of choice. Room cleaned daily , fresh towels daily, friendly helpful staff, sunbeds always available, nice walk to local beach hill not a problem for us in our mid 60s. Our Tui rep very helpful. All in all a good holiday.

Hotel is basic. Rooms are clean and freshly painted. However, strong smell of drains throughout, but an air freshener soon fixed that problem. Food is what you can expect from an all inclusive buffet, although my partner is super fussy and managed to find something to eat at each sitting. Drinks not that great so brought our own from the local spar. Staff fantastic and really helpful and enthusiastic. Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. Entertainment leaves a lot to be desired, although the bingo was a hoot! Would stay again.

Remember this is 3 star, the room I stayed in was basic with a capital B. The fixtures and fittings were a little disappointing, light switches and drains in the bathroom, that kind of thing. Poorly designed shower that took ages to get warm water. Not an awful lot of space in the wardrobe. The kettle was a little scary as it refused to switch off when it reached boiling point so I had to guess when that was and pull out the plug and grip the hot handle with a hand towel (changed after day two to a working kettle). Tea and coffee in rooms, as well as a safety deposit box which I did not expect from a 3 star (£10 deposit). Rooms were cleaned daily by friendly and dedicated staff who didn’t appear to have a single day off in the time I was there. All common areas well maintained. Food is fantastic, of good quality and variety, breakfast could not be faulted, and the self serve beer and wine taps are a real bonus at meal times. Hotel is in a great location for the Planos *****. Hotel has two good pools, and you could always find a sun-bed. A strong 3.5 score from me.

Had 11 nights here . Room were a nice size but could have done with more storage as there was room for more . Shower was nice if you could get the temp right . Cleaned every day and fresh towels daily, drinks not good at all . Breakfast was okay but evening meal not so good . Never had afternoon meal as spent most days on beach . Pool very nice but the sun beds are not very clean and need to be replaced . They were hosed down every morning and had to wait till they dried . Snacks by bar leave a lot to be desired same every day . Pots of fruit , pasta or ham and cheese sandwiches. The were biscuits not covered and flys were on them . Staff in all area were lovely. The slope up to hotel is very easy . We are both 70 and never found it difficult. The entertainment was okay and they do a good job . There a quiz , water aerobics, water polo and no pressure to join in . Air con really good and free also safe is free just a €10 deposit which is retuned on check out . Would we stay again ? Yes if it was only bed and breakfast as Tsvilli has so many lovely restaurants . A

Very poor TUI blue collection hotel I really wanted to like this hotel after reading lots of positive reviews but I just can’t lie! This is more 2 star than 3 The facilities are basic, the food is atrocious we didn’t expect luxury from a 3 star all inclusive but we did expect to be able to eat something without it looking like it had been reheated. Luckily the hotel is in a good location surrounded by great restaurants to be able to eat out, but if you’re a picky eater and thought oh well atleast we’re all inclusive to save some money- come financially prepared as it’s not cheap to eat out. The bedrooms if you have a bad back please be wary that these are very solid hard beds that are extremely uncomfortable. Luckily we didn’t spend much time in the bedroom other than to sleep and shower. The bathroom was worse than a hostel I’ve experienced in the middle of Thailand- the drains are disgusting, the shower allows 30 seconds of scolding, hot unbearable heat followed by 30 seconds of ice cold water in a continuous cycle throughout your time in the shower, the bathroom appears those that have been unfinished with grey concrete walls. WiFi is terrible in your bedroom luckily again we had an EU pass so used our phones as normal. The pool and pool bar is decent enough, the pool bar snacks are poor and unlike any other all inclusive I’ve been I found it didn’t meet any needs of children, other than pizza and grey chicken nuggets they was no toasties etc like you’d usually find. If your paying more than £500 PP I would consider finding somewhere that’s a 4*+ For a cheap cheerful week away this is the place for you but your about a 15 min slow walk to a poor beach that’s 10-20 PP for a sunbed I highly recommend hiring a quad bike and exploring about to find the sights of Zante everyone raves about Unfortunately Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and would suggest TUI consider having this in their collection as it is making them look bad

Just got back from a wonderful week at the Altura - This hotel is a little gem tucked away behind the ***** of great bars and restaurants. Staff Extremely friendly and accommodating - you can tell they all work together to make everyone's holiday as enjoyable as possible. Matteo at the bar deserves a special shout out - always smiling, remembers your drinks and an all round nice guy! Rooms No complaints - baring in mind this is a 3 star hotel, the rooms were cleaned to a good standard daily, with tea/coffee and towels replenished Food A very good choice daily - yes sometimes it could get a little repetitive, but you'll find this in most all inclusive resorts. There was always plenty of fresh tasty options on offer. Drink Very good options for drink - the beer was great, the spirits hit the mark - the soft drinks were a little on the syrupy side but really not that bad at all! Entertainment The Entertainment team were fantastic - always something going on - if i was to have one suggestion it would be mix up the evening entertainment a bit as this always consisted of bingo then cabaret or karaoke then play your cards right - would have much preferred a whole night of karaoke, but that's just personal preference. Pools Pools were great, and just the right amount of cold to keep you from melting in the heat. An additional drinks bar for the top adult pool would be a welcome improvement as would some speakers so we could hear when activities were announced etc. All in all, we loved our stay and would definitely return
