As a woman travelling alone, I was looking for a place where I could hang out peacefully for a week, seeing Arezzo or visiting other places by train, but returning to a safe haven. I had a suite with my own porch, but there was access to a pretty balcony for everyone. In their BnB Ferdinand and Valentino have created a beautiful space with an atmosphere of warmth and respect. The entrance from a narrow street is unassuming, but this place should not be underestimated. Adding to the excellent breakfast array, the owners run a restaurant around the corner, Verdi Valentino, which was the best food I had in Arezzo. It was all perfect in every way.

What a lovely B&B just a few minutes walk to the city center in Arezzo. We arrived very early due to a train strike which necessitated taking a car service from Nocera Umbra to Arezzo. The charming owners let us drop our bags so we could walk around town unencumbered. Once we checked into our room, we were so pleased with how thoughtfully appointed everything is. Simple, elegant, and beautiful. Our room even has a little private terrace where I am writing this review. I do suggest having a data plan on your phone as Wi-Fi here and throughout the region can be spotty. The breakfast was also simple but perfect. Homemade yogurt with all the toppings is one of my favorite things, so I was more than happy! Lovely cappuccino and americqno coffee were had on the beautiful and oh so fragrant terrace. I think it was the honeysuckle that just was divine. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The owners had a large assortment of gluten and dairy free items if that’s a concern. They even make homemade soy yogurt.
