Luciano Guest House

The location is right on the beach and near to lots of bars and restaurants. At the moment, there is a rule in Arambol about live music stopping at 10pm so it isn't overly loud. You can hear the sea when the music is not playing. It is at the quieter end of Arambol beach (regarding sunbathing tourists) which I liked but there is still music playing. This may or may not appeal. The room was basic, but clean when I arrived. I stayed for 6 nights, and they never came into my room. Not to clean, not to empty the bathroom bin. Not for any reason. That is fine by me as I am ok to empty my own bin, but may bother others. The linens and towels were old but clean. Weirdly, I asked for an extra toilet roll after day 4, and I was told I was entitled to only one but that they would make an exception! The length of your stay appears to be irrelevant to the amount of provisions. They also didn't provide a top sheet. I asked for one and he seemed uncertain if I cold have one and said he would let me know later, then forgot (and apologised later). They said I had a blanket and could use that - but those are rarely cleaned so I didn't want to use it next to my skin. It was actually okay as I didn't end up needing it, but if there had been lots of mosquitoes there would have been zero barrier. The owners were friendly and said hello whenever I passed them.

Luciano's guesthouse is right on the arambol beach towards the cliffside, it is safe and clean and best suitable for solo travelers, backpackers and someone who would want to stay right next to the beach especially solo women travellers. The guesthouse is covered with CCTV and outsiders are not allowed. The room I stayed in was an AC basic room, with good wifi speed, clean toilet with 24x7 hot and cold water. Location wise, it is right inside the arambol market and you need to get down at Fishland restraunt and walk below inside the residential lane, so carrying heavy bags or suitcases may be a challenge for some people. Also, the cellular network is very weak in the area due to sea proximity, so call drops are frequent. Luciano is super helpful as a host, and his team of people are also friendly. He helped me out with cab bookings and was available whenever I reached out to him. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore the hippie vibe of Arambol and has a tight budget.

Luciano really is a chill, laid back dude. I gotta tell you, there is a LOT of attraction for me to a place where the owner is seen in action every day. The rooms are basic but very clean and well maintained. If you need something, Luciano will get it done quickly and is very easy to communicate with. 💯

Good location, attentive owner, inexpensive but I got destroyed by mosquitos here which made the stay totally miserable. They should consider mosquito nets. Think I had about 50 bites after the first night.
