Stayed at Löwen for one night. Personell is super friendly andvthe room was great. Thanks for the free upgrade! Even though the place is right in the middle of town, I had a very quiet night of sleep. Breakfast: nice buffet with everything you need…

The front desk lady was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast lady was also very accommodating. The room was tidy and well equipped. Overall super happy with all the friendly staff and the fantastic environment.

This hotel was centrally located, an easy walk from the train station. The room was attractive and clean. There was a person at the desk to help check in and out. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved walking around and shopping in charming, old Swiss Appenzell as well as the variety of restaurants. Our room was comfortable and the owner and employees’ attention to details made it special, like a terrarium in the bathroom, good breakfast included, limited parking in their lot, and a large selection of tv channels.

The lady at the reception was very friendly. The rooms were excellent, as was the hotel's location. The only disappointment was the breakfast buffet. It started with the lack of greeting from the staff; you could tell them they didn't feel like working. The buffet was almost empty, and unfortunately, there were no fresh eggs. A shame considering the high price of breakfast.
