Small and traditional hotel. Quiet and elegant. There are forest close by. You do need a car or taxi.

Reception ok, breakfast good, room small and dated, mattress very soft

The hotel rooms are very noisy. It is then difficult to really sleep well.

Hospitably received. The room was neat and equipped with every convenience. The only thing that stands out is that there are signs here and there of parts that need maintenance. Here and there you see damage to doors and desk baseboards where paint has peeled off, but all in all it is not really noticeable and was not disturbing to me. Staff is nice and attentive. Overall a great hotel in my opinion

A bit dated but otherwise fine for a night. Beds are wonderful!

The room was the worst part since it was super small, smelled bad and the noise from the other rooms was terrible. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was good but the rooms need urgent renovation. The people are not so friendly at the reception and only care about getting the payment and nothing more....I hope I will not be back.

The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. There was an extra pillow waiting for me and a lovely view from my window. The breakfast was very good as was the dinner. The fish and chips were brilliant and plentiful.

As others have said the hotel entrance was fine, the lift wouldn’t pass uk health and safety and the walls move, and the walls are scabby. The room was small. Being British I wouldn’t normally complain, but this was below what I was expecting, even for a budget hotel. See the photos. They were full so couldn’t move, and I was told I was in one of the bigger single rooms. Thank goodness for the internet that I could escape into Netflix, although there wasn’t many place to put the computer as there was a chair and a sink (see photo). The water didn’t drain quickly in the shower, which in the eve I g went from cold to scalding. Not much positive I can add I’m afraid. The staff were ok, although I didn’t really put them to the test. I ate out as, after seeing the rooms, was not inspired to stay there. I thought it was less expensive as it’s not central- I was wrong, it’s not central but totally uninspiring.

Really bad, reception so unhelpful, room was ok and breakfast was what you’d expect. Outside beautiful to look at but it doesn’t continue on the inside. Very confusing layout and not much is explained.

Booked two nights for a weekend away with sauna and Veluwe. This hotel seemed like a great base to us. The exterior and reception are neat. The room was tiny and very dated. The headboard was bigger than the bed. The bed consisted of two separate beds and was so soft that a huge groove immediately formed when you lay down. Slept very poorly because the bed is so narrow that it feels like you are falling out when you turn over. No bedside tables, no coffee/tea, no coat rack, noise from an extractor system outside. After one lousy night we checked out. Reception offered another room but offered no other solution and we ultimately did not say goodbye. Now quickly take the paracetamol.

Worst restaurant ever. Been waiting for a long time for expired carpaccio and refused the rest of the menu due to waiting for hours. A total shame! Even plain water at the table was not possible and the staff did not speak Dutch

Spend the night here in a rather outdated room. The room was small, there was a small desk, a built-in cupboard and an old-fashioned and narrow bed in the room. The bed itself was good. Bathroom was dated, but very spacious. Pipes all over the walls in the hotel, in the hallways, in the room, in the bathroom, you see pipes everywhere, very old-fashioned. It is also noisy between the room and the hallway and the wooden floors creak. The cleanliness could also be improved: stains in the carpet in the hallway, paint in the elevator very damaged. We didn't have high expectations for the breakfast, but it turned out great! Dining room with large bay window has a cozy feel. Another advantage was the free parking, which you sometimes see differently. Staff were friendly. Considering the low price and the excellent breakfast, this is still sufficient.

Мы регулярно посещаем разные отели по всей стране. Fletcher Hotel в Апелдорне — худший из всех отелей Fletcher. Даже трехзвездочные отели Fletcher в других городах лучше четырехзвездочного Fletcher в Апелдорне. Невероятно маленький номер. Интерьер и мебель очень старые. В номере нет чайника или кофемашины, нет чая и кофе! Это первый раз в моей жизни. Очень, очень мягкие матрасы и очень узкая кровать. Матрас просто провалился под нами и мы не могли уснуть всю ночь. 4 звезды — вы серьезно? Очень плохой опыт! Я никому не рекомендую этот отель.

Wij hebben via onze jaarkaart een nachtje geboekt bij dit hotel. Dit was de eerste keer dat wij in dit hotel waren en waren zeer tevreden over hoe vriendelijk het personeel was en hoe fijn we ontvangen werden. Wij hadden kamer 203 en die had vloerverwarming, een airco, een tv waar je films en series op kan casten enzo. Het eten was ook erg lekker, vanwege de jaarkaart zat het drie gangen diner bij de prijs inbegrepen. Ook tijdens het eten werd alles goed uitgelegd en kwam de bediening genoeg keren langs met een glimlach om te kijken of alles nog naar wens was. De sfeer tussen het personeel zag er ook top uit. In de avond toen de bar eigenlijk al gesloten was, kregen wij van Joran alsnog een drankje om mee naar boven te nemen. Wij herkennen ons zeker niet in de slechte recensies, door de goede service en de kwaliteit van de schone kamer zijn wij zeker van plan om nog een keer terug te komen.
