Dania Beach Apartments

Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE! We are loyal Marriott Titanium but this place should not be part of the Marriott Family. We stayed here one night before a cruise with a group of friends. I booked our room on points. We had only one charge at checkout which was a bar/restaurant charge of 57.09. We paid this charge on our credit card……Done. Now…….5 months later I have ANOTHER charge for $57.09. Have not set foot in Florida ( live in AZ) I have called “Patty” regularly ( supposedly does bookkeeping) Never available, never returned calls. This is FRAUD. Yes, Im pursuing this with my CC company but point is……what hotel randomly recharges a bill 5 months later? Of course they claim they have documentation according to my CC company. Still, have never heard from this hotel. I believe FRAUD is being committed. Consider yourselves warned!

Second time here.. first one was so not memorable my husband couldn’t remember we were here.. lol It was great then also! However… this time the exception is Allen.. the bartender.. he is amazing sooo friendly and wonderful at his job! Hotel clean and comfy. Rooms really nice. You really will joy your time. PLEASE TRY THE CHOCOLATE MARTINI!!!!

Hotel location is very good, very close to the tri rail, the disadvantage is a bit noisy, both the plane flies over and the train passes

We chose this hotel because of the convenience between the airport and the cruise port. Check in was very smooth, staff was friendly and professional. Our room faced the parking lot, which was good, because some reviews said street view was noisy. The room was very clean and beds comfy. Because the hotel was sold out during our stay, staff advised to get to the buffet early if you wanted breakfast to avoid the crowd, and they were right. Because the airport is so close by, you will hear the planes. Free transportation from the airport to the hotel. There is a cost to use their transportation to the cruise ships. You pay at the hotel and book a departure time. It was a little chaotic, with folks standing with their luggage in the back parking lot waiting for shuttles, but I would use it again, because of how smooth the process was once we got to the port.

The hotel is fine. But as I found everywhere I went in Florida, that most of the staff was in training, and incompetent. I called for the free shuttle waited an hour called again waited an hour and finally paid to get to the hotel. I questioned the shuttle driver and he said the front desk never informed him of a pickup. That was the first of quite a few bad experiences I had at this hotel. Hopefully they will get staff trained and service will improve. But I won’t be staying here again.

Where do I start? My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary in the FL area. We started out at Embassy Suites in Deerfield for a couple of days, then drove up to the Keys to spend a day and stayed at the Fairfield in Marathon and both were excellent just amazing. But then we decided to end our celebration back toward Ft. Lauderdale at the Comfort Inn in Dania Beach so we could be close to the airport when we left. This was the worse experience I have ever had at a hotel. This was the first time that it was so bad that we had to check out early. The only good thing was the front desk employees. I actually feel sorry for what they have to put up with... I normally don't leave feedback but I could not let this go... Day one (The Door) - The first sign of what to come was the hotel key wouldn't work so after lugging luggage to our room my husband had to go back down and have them fix the key for door. My husband had to go down three times before they came up and had to reset the door with their little machine. What was ironic was the couple that checked in the same time we did was right next door to us and their key did not work either so they had to go back down and get their key fixed as well. Day One (The room) - The room smelled like mold and the air conditioner had a rattling noise to it if I could upload the video I took I would. The chair to the desk was horrible it was so beat up that I did not want to sit in it and the couch was stained. (See photos). This right here tells me that the management could care less about the upkeep of their rooms. As long as the lobby smells and looks good then they are fine. It takes nothing to replace that chair. Trust me I know I had to buy one for my home office when the pandemic started. Day two-three (the door again) - On Day two we had the same issue with the door again and the only thing the staff did was issue new keys and they had to reset the door with the little key machine I did ask for a new room and they stated that they were booked and could possibly do it after people check out and have the room cleaned. But as I was at the front desk getting my second set of keys another guest was there complaining about their room having bugs. By the time we returned it was late and I just wanted to lay down and get in the bed so I didn't press the issue. Day Three - was a repeat of Days one and two but this time when we returned to the hotel we were totally locked out and could not get in at all...Even after trying to reset it with the key machine they had to call the maintenance guy and he could not get in as well...We were locked out for about 30 minutes before we were able to get into our room. This time as we were going up and down on the elevator to see if each set of keys worked another hotel guest was trying to check out early because his room smelled like mold as well and he stated that they said all rooms smelled that way....This could be really bad for anyone that has re

Graet location by the airport with a shuttle. Nice roomy rooms, which were clean. Delicious breakfast with many options. Sister hotels, one with a bar and sandwiches for eve, and the other with a coffee bar and goodies in the lobbies. The only thing negative was 1 elevator per building, but I still would choose this property again.

Absolutely not staying at this wreck of a hotel ever again! Tiesha (so) the front desk agent was a complete unprofessional! Yelled at us, became racist in a heartbeat, and when confronted with hotel issues called the police!! Even agitated other guests to cause more drama to the situation. She failed to have correct information about the hotel, refused to notify her manager or get management involved. Other issues like amenities were not as advertised. Hot water didn’t work. Rooms unkempt, and disgusting hallways. Overall experience of a well travelled and frequent hotel guest: absolute zero. Past reviews should be taken as truth as the staff and hotel quality are not even close to the Cambria marketing as the top Choice Hotels option. Choice oughta be ashamed of this hotel and is staff.

Samir made my stay truly exceptional! From the moment I arrived, he was welcoming, attentive, and quick to assist with anything I needed. He provided great local recommendations and handled every request with care and efficiency. His friendly attitude and professionalism really stood out, making my experience so much better. Samir’s service is a big reason I’d return to this hotel!
