It’s well know for the Cascamorras Festival and Fiesta, where people come from all over the world to watch the fun. The spectacular Sierra Nevada is just over an hour drive away, Lake Negratin, which is 16 km long is 10 mins away by car and offers stunning scenery, lake side restaurants, kayaking, quad biking, horse riding, fishing, hiking and a vast amount of picnic areas and hidden gems of ruins and waterfalls.The nearest beach Vera or Mojacar is 1 hour and 20 mins away by car, and offers all the fun of the seaside, with the spectacular weather, fine restaurants and a happy go lucky atmosphere.
