I traveled to Qiandao Lake in late August and chose two hotels that were highly recommended. I had high expectations for Minghao and specially arranged to stay in the second one. The result was quite different from what I imagined. First of all, I was very satisfied with the room hygiene and facilities. It is a newly opened hotel. The sanitary napkins and shower room are separated, and the constant temperature shower is good. What I was not satisfied with was that the balcony of the third-floor room was blocked by a half-person-high wall, and the lake could not be seen from the house. Even now, the balcony is not high enough and is blocked by trees, so the view is not wide. It is recommended to choose rooms on the fourth floor and above. On the morning of the check-in day, the housekeeper called and added WeChat, and sent the arrangement of special summer activities and the business hours of various facilities. The content looked rich and colorful, but it was actually very special. Most of the parent-child activities were set up in a booth in the lobby. No one organized it, and no children participated. The form was greater than the content. The outdoor swimming pool that I was looking forward to was far away from the hotel lobby and could not be accessed indoors. It took a long time to walk under the scorching sun. The road was not separated by people and cars, which was very inconvenient, and it was only open in the afternoon. Some vouchers were given upon check-in, but they all have thresholds. The two free ice cream coupons also have a time limit. I didn't have time to use them in the end. I blame myself for not seeing the activity time clearly. The main playground is not as big as I imagined. I personally think it is less than 3,000 square meters, but it is enough to play. Many areas in it have empty shelves, the carousel is not always open, and the ground in the overall walking area is really hard. Five apples were given as souvenirs when I checked out. The attitude of the hotel staff is also very good, but there is always a feeling of being forced to operate, and I can't feel it from the heart. The overall feeling is that they want to build a high-end hotel, but they only achieve the form, not the spirit. It is not recommended for vacation.

I have been to Qiandao Lake for many years in spring. It was my first time staying at Junlan Hotel. It was amazing! The environment is picturesque and the air is quiet and warm. The hotel management is superb. From the front desk to the guest room, from the restaurant to the gym, the waiters greeted me with a smile and warm greetings. Every time I go to Qiandao Lake, I always find a different scenery. The location of the hotel is also great. You can see the beautiful lake view and rows of cruise ships outside the window. The location of the homestay is excellent, it takes only three minutes to get off the highway, ten minutes to walk to the beer town, and 20 minutes to Tianyu Mountain. The free breakfast in the store has many varieties and good taste. The room is soundproofed and sleeps very quietly at night. There are many parking spaces at the entrance of the homestay. Friends who drive to Qiandao Lake by car, highly recommended, parking, accommodation and eating are very convenient.

We stayed there in November 2023 and got an upgrade with a nice tub in the room. thank you. It was very nice. The only thing which was special for this room, was that the door to the balcony was not closed tight so cold air cold come in. The breakfast had an good amount of different food and was good. The staff was very nice also the did not speak English, but thats no problem.

We made a last-minute decision to go on a trip before the New Year, and chose this hotel blindly. We were pleasantly surprised after arriving. The breakfast of tomato noodles, sliced ​​bread, apple juice, fruit, and yogurt were all delicious. The children could eat two bowls of noodles every day. Due to the weather, we did not choose to visit many attractions. The hotel's single-family design provided many places for children to play. There was a bar opposite the restaurant, and a large swimming pool was hidden behind the bar. Although it was winter, the colors were very good. There was also a lamb house in the 4th building, which the children liked very much. Thanks to the housekeeper Xiao Wang for giving the children plaster coloring dolls and firework sticks. The service was timely and serious. It was a very happy trip. I will come again if I have the chance in summer vacation!

As a base for sightseeing around Qiandao Lake, I think the location is good as it is close to the bus stop from Qiandao Lake Station and also close to the sightseeing boat pier. However, there are only restaurants that mainly serve fish dishes around the hotel, no restaurants serving noodles or other dishes, and no supermarkets, so I felt it was inconvenient for shopping. The hotel sold instant noodles for 5 RMB, which was helpful. Breakfast was buffet style and the taste was average, but I was happy that they provided hot coffee. Across the road is a tunnel theme park called the Time Tunnel, and you can purchase tickets at a discount from the hotel. (98 RMB to 80 RMB)

The room was large and clean. The location of the hotel is very good. It is more convenient to travel and eat. I will go to live for a few days every month. The parking lot is very convenient. The front desk is served with a smile. Especially amiable. The hotel is just by the lake, and there is a beautiful view of the lakeside plank road. You can take a walk in the morning and watch the sunrise at night.

This is an excellent hotel. Great location and great service. They work hard to appease the customers by providing free fish-head meals, afternoon fruits, and good-night sweet soups everyday. Moreover, the fish-head meals taste really good - not what you would expect for “free” food.
