Our place is walking distance to the beach and Nags Head Town Park . There are some hiking trails to the Albemarle sound. Dowdy Park is also close. We are located in walking/ biking distance to great local restaurants, ice cream shops, surf shops, coffee shops, grocery stores, antique stores, yoga studios, YMCA and much , much more. The walk to Barnes St beach Access is about a 10 - 15 min walk less on bikes .The spaceLost on Lost Colony has a great out door sitting area, relax with your coffee or tea in the morning. Coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, and small refrigerator are available for your convenience. Great access to the beach or the park 10 minutes in either direction. We have bikes, umbrella, and beach chairs available for free (at your risk/responsibility) for your entire stay. We are close to SUP rentals and surf lessons. Art on the walls is done by all local artists, and is for sale upon request. You could park your car and walk or bike to most everything you need in Nags Head. We do live upstairs with the cats. We will either be at work or the beach most of the summer. We will be available to answer and questions you might have while staying in Nags Head.***Due to Covid-19, we like to let our guest know we are not industrial cleaners. We want all of our guests to feel safe and comfortable in our space***Guest accessYou have an outside shower , and a foot rinsing hose to get the sand off after a beach day. The entrance is around the side of the house with its own seating area filled with plants and a hammock is available upon request. We occasionally have a fire pit out back and you are welcome to join us. The motto is Beach,Sleep, Repeat!Other things to notePretty much everything you need for a good beach stay is available here. We provide soap, shampoo, linens. We provide beach chairs and bikes to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our neighborhood features an outdoor waterside community area available to guests that includes a playground , pickleball, basketball, and a dock for fishing and crabbing. A small sound side beach access is also within walking distance, ideal for watching the sunset or launching a kayak or paddleboard.As a family-friendly home, we ask that guests keep noise levels reasonable and avoid loud partying or drug use. Seahorse Cottage is a semi-oceanfront, classic beach cottage located in South Nags Head less than 30 yards over the dune line. Enjoy a 2-minute walk to the beach on a private access road THIS LISTING IS FOR THE DOWNSTAIRS GROUND FLOOR UNIT ONLY. 1 Bedroom and 1 bath with shower. This is a BASIC, older apartment - nothing fancy - on the ground floor (below sea level). It has baseboard heat and a window unit air conditioning and a basic kitchen - probably not suitable for cooking extensive meals but great for basic needs. A good place to unwind after a day at the beach, fishing, or other outdoor activities. It is listed with a max occupancy of 2 people, but families with up to 2 children can be accommodated on a case by case basis if providing own bedding and with advance permission. Permission MUST be given IN ADVANCE.
