Hakkoda Sanso

Used for the night before climbing Mt. Hakkoda. Close to the ropeway. 1. Reconfirmation required The first thing the receptionist said was, "I couldn't get in touch with you, so I canceled the reservation" and "I thought you backed out" (as stated). Called my cell phone once the day before and multiple times on the day (during the flight). Although it is not stated on the website, this inn requires reconfirmation. 2. No air conditioning There were many vacant rooms, but I was assigned a room that was exposed to the setting sun. I couldn't sleep well because of the heat. 3. Security concerns There is a key to the room, but anyone can enter the building freely. There is no reception at night. I thought the food and bath (night bathing allowed) were good. The next day I stayed at a nearby hot spring, but I didn't have any unpleasant experiences. The ropeway opens at 9:00 and the road conditions from Aomori city are good. I should have chosen another accommodation.
