Hotel de Savoie

The service was excellent and friendly despite our late arrival. The location is top-notch! Well, the room isn't really that great, but with the view of the backyard and the small hallways, it's somehow authentic. But please don't expect too much. The central location is simply fantastic.

A two-star hotel that does not provide mouthwash cups, toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers. The room was renovated 40 years ago. The only advantage is the good location, and you can go shopping in the old town right outside.

The room is in a very good location, very good, in the center of the process. The boss has a bad temper. I asked if I could store my bag, and he said yes, and put it in the lobby, outside the front desk, in an open and unenclosed space outside. I asked if I could put it inside, and the boss refused and got angry, with no patience, and asked me if my things were often stolen in China...?

The Hôtel de Savoie welcomed me for one night during a business trip. The plethora of harsh reviews on Tripadvisor is unfortunately not unjustified. Choose this establishment as a last resort. The rates are like beautiful Annecy: overpriced. Entering the reception, which also serves as the breakfast room, you immediately discover an atmosphere and environment that transports you back 50 years. The romantic room and its bright bathroom are a hotel experience; it's a journey to the confines of good taste and dated decor. A small sachet (like a finger bowl) containing shampoo delicately placed on the sink will allow you to wash yourself. Hands, hair, feet, and everything else. No soap is available, thank you for the planet. Let's talk about the positive points here: the bedding (at least in my room) was good, the location is ideal in the historic city center, the kindness of Joël at the reception is sincere, the coffee at breakfast was good. The points that are not: the small hotel is a mini-labyrinth and inaccessible for people with reduced mobility, the noise of the neighborhood (you are in the heart of Annecy facing the Castle, you have the hundreds of customers on the restaurant terraces, ice cream vendors and tourists on the Perrière bridge with their cameras), the dilapidated state of the room & the bathroom, the lack of air conditioning (50 years ago, only the Americans had fresh air), the giant screen (a superb bright 75-inch Oled) connected to the news channel at breakfast to announce the good news from the World, ... It would take a budget exceeding a million euros to renovate this charming little Annecy hotel, it's a safe bet that it's neither in the plans nor in the purses of the owners. The smile of the gentleman at reception is worth all the gold in the world, but a smile is expensive.

une arnaque. il n'y a pas eu de séjour parce que le le receptionniiste n'a voulu donner ni clé ,ni numero de chambre. Vous me devez 746 euros car j'avais pyé 1 jours de séjours. Je n'ai même pas pu avoir une chambre il fut me rembourser.
