The hotel is very safe, it is safe to enter the door... yes! Many of the people staying at the hotel are pilots and flight attendants; The room is OK, the Turkish bath is absolutely good. Buffet dinner is very rich and not expensive

I have visited the hotel for a business meeting and I got very pleasant surprised by it and its staff. The people in the hotel and the staff at the reception were very supportive and helped me with some urgent issues that appeared at the time of my stay. We stayed 2 nights and Grand Mercure Hotel in Ankara is a good choice. Hotel is located in the new and modern part of Ankara and there are several restaurants , cafes and shopping malls nearby , so people can find almost everything easily. People can reach city center by taxi or metro connection is available as well. Metro station is approx.10 minutes walking distance. - our room was at 15th floor and silent. AC was working properly during the extreme hot days of summertime. - Hotel staff were very kind and acting friendly. - Breakfast buffet was excellent w wide range of delicious foods. All in all we enjoyed Grand Mercure Ankara and stay here again when we come to Ankara.

due to Covid-19 the gym and spa were closed, so I cannot comment on the hotel's facilities. Also, the buffet for breakfast were closed and they served breakfast in wrapped plates, Jambobs, cheese, jam, etc. It was OK but not great. The service was good. the receptionists could speak English fluently and they helped me to find my way around the city and made a copy of few documents that I needed. The wifi speed and availability in the whole hotel was great. also the safe in the room was big enough for my 16 inch laptop. Loved the shower as well. I had a nice view on 11th floor. In general, my stay was satisfactory.

Otel ***et şık ve temizdi. 2 çocuğumla konakladığımız oda kocamandı ve çocuklarla çok rahat ettik. Kahvaltı hizmeti almak istemedik ancak oda-kahvaltı şeklinde hizmet verildiğini belirttiler. Kahvaltı oldukça başarılıydı. Sessiz bir aile oteli.

This is the hotel to stay in this area, and actually if you don't mind riding the subway (nearest subway station is couple of minutes away by taxi), this is one of the best places to stay in Ankara. Large rooms, cleaned daily. Very customer friendly and always smiling staff. Delicious and rich open buffet breakfast included in the room price. Lunch and dinner are also provided at the hotel restaurant, if you prefer to eat there. For those who want to shop or window shopping, Podium Shopping Mall is next to it. We did not use its SPA, pool or gym but I have read good reviews about them too. Certainly this will be our choice hotel when we visit Ankara again.
