I would never stay here ever again. as soon as we walked in to our room we knew it wasn't going to be good. the room had a funky smell to it. it was a mixture of old carpet, stale air and maybe smoking, even though this room was supposed to be non smoking. the room was clean enough, and close to the lake, but OMG for this kind of money it was atrocious. there were no hooks or towel rods in the bathroom. when we asked about that the front desk suggested to look behind the bathroom door. we had... one of the receptionists suggested the shower rod. the front desk people were less than interested with any questions and quite dismissive. there was no elevator there was no automatic cleaning of the room, and with no where to dry our towels we need new towels. we later found out we had to ask for a cleaning, but there was no indication of that in our room. the restaurant was good, and there was a very nice blonde lady working there.

Stopped here on the third leg of our holiday after picking up a car at the airport. More motel than hotel and found reception staff a bit disinterested as one just stared at her phone. Room was ready and was just ok. This is obviously a busy airport stop off and was well used. The staff in the restaurant were excellent. Friendly and helpful. Used the laundry there and took a while for our card to work. More of a convenient stop than luxury.

Conveniently located a 5 minute drive from ANC airport, with a regularly running shuttle. The Coast Inn shows its age but is a fine place to stay. The room was clean, the hot water ran freely, and the wifi worked. Didn't have a chance to try the food at Piper's.

This hotel is conveniently located near the local airport, the international airport, and the train station. It offers free parking, with-if in rooms, mini-fridge, and air conditioning. Oddly, the amenities lists for this hotel were different on various websites, and even the hotel website did not mention mini fridges, but did have them. The hallways have dated carpet and some deferred maintenance. The room had a broken security latch; we had brought our own hotel lock and would have asked to move rooms if we hadn’t, as it did not feel secure without a security lock of some kind. Some aircraft noise so earplugs are helpful. Overall an uneventful stay, but the pricing was high (due to high season) and it was only average.

Coast Inn-This was a great stopping point to and from the airport.close and very convenient. Hotel is okay. Clean but could use some touch ups. Piper’s bar and restaurant was a great atmosphere and food with a lot of fun people. We would definitely stay there again.

I am giving this hotel a 5 star rating because of wonderful desk work of Nicole. She was friendly, resourceful, and accommodating to our group. She knew the area and gave great recommendations for our meals and outings. The rooms were spacious and clean.

No view of Hood lake- but pricey as though you could see it. Cob webs in doorways, corners of room, between furniture, stains on carpet- everything needed a deep clean. Plumbing issues in next room that effected our room. Loud hallways and above guests on second floor. This hotel provided the same amenities as a drive-in motel back in the late 1990s. I would not stay here again if other options had booking availability.

When we arrived they were very rude and saying if we make any noise that they were gonna kick us out for no reason they were being really disrespectful don’t go here and the room was nasty I found a bed bug in there there was an attitude with every coworker that was here that I talk to, and I was being really nice and they judge people
