The Wildbirch Hotel in Jdv by Hyatt

Great hotel that is still under renovation. Once finished I think it will be wonderful. Not many amenities available at the moment. The restaurant and bar has opened. Service and food was great. We would definitely stay again

very good. Even better than more expensive hotels.

Long way to the room, no welcomed as globalist, customer service need to improve, room was okay, clean and comfortable.

Great stay for 2 nights after cruise before flying home The manager Miracle was so helpful sorting out a minor problem on check in Room clean and adequate for short stay and staff friendly and helpful Breakfast great but also try the Snow cafe There is a great restaurant called Ginger on 5th Avenue , definitely recommend

Decorative boutique hotel within walking distance to all of downtown Anchorage including the train! Rooms are uniquely appointed and comfortable with all expectations: coffee, safe, toiletries, etc. Goodies and drinks for sale in room. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Crimson restaurant. And the coffee bar makes a fantastic cappuccino! As a newly renovated hotel, we had a maintenance issue, which was addressed promptly. Biggest drawback - this hotel is a city block long with the lobby and restaurant at one end - your room can be closer to other commercial cafes than Crimson. Additionally, the only elevator going to all room floors is at the far end of the hotel - a haul with luggage on the carpet! Ask for a 2nd floor (Street level) room closer to the lobby for convenience. Or at least choose a 3rd floor room with a view if you have to walk the hall to the elevator. We had a 1st floor basement room with a parking lot view - okay if you like to be near your car (but, we didn't have one). We would definitely return to Wildbirch Hotel if our travels take us to downtown Anchorage.

Too many homeless when we went outside to smoke begging. Did not feel safe for the price. Very expensive $555 a night for being on the street with no view.
