We stayed at the Manoir as it was ideally suited for walking to the town and had good parking facilities. Amboise is ideally situated for visiting surrounding Chateau. We had a very comfortable room and the staff (especially Marine) were very helpful. Breakfast was good but the fruits selection was limited. Our only complaint was with the Wi-Fi and as we were staying for 4 nights we had to log on to the Wi-Fi every 24 hours. Most inconvenient

Tout était parfait, l'accueil par Marine était super sympa, le manoir est vraiment très agréable, la chambre dans la dépendance assez grande, confortable et très pratique. Pouvoir garer sa voiture dans la cour est un gros plus aussi. L'emplacement est vraiment idéal car à 5 minutes à pieds à peine du centre Très bonne expérience que je regrette de ne pas renouveler en 2025 en raison des futurs travaux

A lovely location with parking, but a disappointing experience for us overall. Prior to arrival, we were peppered with various messages from the hotel asking for a great deal of information and our payment in advance. They asked specifically about our food allergies (which we appreciated) but delivered us something we told them we were allergic to with our drinks. We booked this hotel specifically because they offered a laundry service — we really needed one at this point on our trip. We learned on arrival this was not available. There was also a warning not to open our windows with the lights on because of bugs! See image below. Disappointing.

Un manoir au pied du château joliment rénové en hôtel haut de gamme qui offre des chambres spacieuses, lumineuses et très bien équipées . La literie est confortable. Le service d’épicerie sur place est pratique et bien pensé. Mobilier moderne dans un cadre où le charme de l’ancien a été préservé. Belle terrasse et agréables salles de réception. Petit déjeuner complet et de bonne qualité. Accueil prévenant et souriant. Idéalement situé à quelques pas du centre historique.

Really elegant hotel with great parking. Service was elegant. Room comfy. Breakfast good. I recommend having a glass of Chinon red in the courtyard out front. Very short walk to old town which has great restaurants, chateau. Lovely place to stay in the Loire valley. Room up top (we had) has Loire view.
