Apartments Amalfi Design

We booked this apartment for our family of 5 (3 young children), but the address led nowhere. We were told to meet at the Amalfi Hotel, where Mrs. Paola, the property manager, greeted us with hostility. The Amalfi Hotel staff were also rude and dismissive, refusing to help once they heard why we were there. We were denied entry because we had one extra guest (a 6-year-old child). No alternatives were offered. No flexibility. No compassion. We were told to leave and contact ******* for a refund. After we left, Paola refused the refund, and we lost our money for 4 nights — without ever stepping foot in the apartment. ❗️Read the reviews before booking. There are consistent themes across *******, Google, TripAdvisor, and Trustpilot: • Paola is rude and unprofessional • She lies about offering solutions or refunds • She falsifies the story after the fact • She finds technicalities to deny you access and keep your money This feels like a coordinated scam. You pay, you arrive, and she finds a reason to turn you away and then refuses to refund you. ******* has done nothing to investigate this pattern of behavior or protect its customers. Don’t be the next victim. Avoid this property and warn others.

In spite of prior arrangements, the owner arrived nearly an hour late. Instead of an apology, we were met by hostility, and a threat of not letting us have the apartments at all. There were two problems in the apartments. First, the dishes were poorly washed. As is the case in any apartment with a kitchen, but without a dishwasher, the dishes are washed by the guests before they leave. But before the apartment is rented out to the next guests, the dishes need to be checked for cleanliness. If they're not clean, they should either be rewashed, or taken offsite and washed in a dishwasher. You'd never accept dirty towels or bedlinen, why should it be any different with dishes? Secondly, the towel heaters in the bathrooms did not work. As the weather was very cold, it would have been nice to have warm towels and a somewhat warm bathroom. The apartments themselves are fairly basic, though nice enough and in a very good location. But I would never stay there again.

Great, Paula was very welcoming and accomodating. Whatever you needed was nearby- laundry mat, restaurants, parking. Great!

Nice apartment The property is clean. Nice amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. Location in heart of Amalfi. Comfy beds. Great bathroom. Minor inconvenience was the door locks; needed actual keys to lock and unlock twice each time we came and went.
