Wonderful location, the villas very spacious, clean and complete. Very friendly staff. However, the heated pool was fatal: there were cockroaches!! And it also smelled very strange and unpleasant. A shame we couldn't enjoy it, but everything else was great.

The oceanfront location is the saving grace for this resort. It is old and neglected. Beds are horrifically hard and torturous to sleep on. Staff are friendly but that doesn’t make up for facilities neglect and lack of cleanliness. Luckily they are on a a fabulous beach.

Die Lage ist wunderschön; der lange, natürliche Sandstrand mit dem Holzsteg und den zahlreichen kleinen Restaurants. Leider entsprach das Appartement nicht unseren Erwartungen. Die auf dem Internet publizierten Bilder weichen erheblich von vorgefundenen Standard ab. Das Mobiliar ist alt und abgewohnt, alles riecht staubig bis muffig. Das Badezimmer ist kühl und feucht, unangenehm und es ist unmöglich, die Tücher trocknen zu lassen. Das Appartement wurde vom Personal des Hotels Dom João II betreut und gepflegt. Der Service war eher nachlässig und die auf der Info angegebene Telefonnummer führte nicht zur Reception, sondern zu einer Zentrale der Pestana Hotels, auf der ein Band lief. Schade, dass an dieser wunderschönen Lage kein ansprechendes Appartement mit einem adäquaten Service verfügbar ist.

Family holiday for 5 days. Villa was an apartment in a 2-storey block, ocean views, ＜100m from the ocean even less to the beach). Quiet without being silent, other kids around too for ours to see and play with, other families and couples enjoying their time. Great base for exploring Alvor. Some parts of the complex a little bit more tired than others, but we felt that lent more character!

Dss Hotel bietet eine Top-Lage am Meer. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sauber und wohnlich eingerichtet. Es gibt ein sehr gutes Frühstücksangebot.Es war unser erster Portugalurlaub und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.

This is a lovely place for a quiet holiday. The villa and adjacent hotel are wonderful. Very clean and well kept. Easy access to the town via the boardwalk along the beach. The hotel has all the facilities that you would need and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Excelente !Foi tudo muito bom. Já não é a primeira vez que vou para ali. Conforto, limpeza, localização, simpatia, kitchenet muito bem equipada,piscina de água salgada, sempre muito cuidada, com uma boa qualidade de água...melhor é impossível. Voltarei concerteza !
