Stayed with my little boy for the week. Reception staff were extremely friendly, supermarket staff were also really nice. Pool area was brilliant for kids and adults, adjoined was the restaurant/bar to get ice cream drinks etc.. there is no kids club for people who are on hols. It's a creche for locals. Really small dated play area. Apartment was dated and had a large amount of Ants in it. Coming up through the sink and all over the floors! No area to put the bins out or get new towels. Very dated.. good experience all round as the location is excellent. Reception will call a taxi and it will arrive immediately (about 2mins drive to town for 4e)

The hotel itself is ideally located within a 10/15 walk to the centre there is a good bar an Indian on route! The apartments are well equipped and really spacious we had a 2 bed apartment which had two bathrooms so was good for showering everyone at night! The apartments are really dated but they were clean so that’s all that mattered to us! There two blocks of apartments both with baby and big pool(which only has a small shallow area) there is a pool bar and restaurant (I can’t comment on it because I didn’t eat there) there is a kids club (wasn’t open in June) but my daughter used the play area) downfalls of the hotel there is no lift and also the AC is not the best

Apartments are a good size and reasonably well equipped kitchen with fridge kettle microwave and oven. Rooms and bathrooms are dated but adequate. Beds not very comfy. Note that no cleaning during our week and no lift. Real problem was that we didn’t find anywhere to dispose of rubbish. Nice Pool area and snack bar always clean and plenty of sun beds . Supermarket on site seemed a good price and had everything we needed . There is another bigger one about 10 mins walk on the way to town. Alvor itself is lovely a nice old town and harbour about 20 mins walk and a lovely beach a further 10 mins walk. Lots of lovely restaurants . We usually walked to the harbour area and got an Uber back which cost £3.50.

Diese Anlage ist komplett in 80ern stehen geblieben. Wäre nicht so schlimm, wenn die Zimmer wenigstens halbwegs vernünftig ausgestattet wären, aber zwei Gläser, drei Tassen und eine Matratze, bei der jede Feder zu spüren ist, sind keine drei Sterne wert. Das „Gamecenter“ mit völlig heruntergekommenen Billardtischen (3€ pro Spiel), einem kaputten Kicker und gesperrten Toiletten… Die Putzfrauen schreien durch die Flure. Und wer ein Zimmer zur Haupstraße bekommt, hat den Jackpot. Nicht für Menschen mit Gehbeschwerden geeignet. Unfreundlicher Rezeptionist bei Abreise. Auf Nimmerwiedersehen…

Been here a number of times in the past but in the last few years Management have let the pool areas go again this year still no toilet paper in the toilets no way of washing your hand area around pool uneven and not cleaned sunbeds look new to the hotel but not necessarily new in reality Rooms not getting cleaned on a rota ie you leave on a Friday after a week and you get clean bedding and towels on a Thursday instead of mid way though the week People requesting ground floor rooms with buggy and disabled access give top floor rooms People give keys to apartments after arriving late walking into the apartment only to find the apartments already occupied and people asleep in bed Come on get your act together

Beds and pillows uncomfortable could not sleep well were there 30 years ago no improvements since then No Lifts had to go up 42 steps to apt asked to be moved after 3 days cost 50 euros, still had to climb 22 steps steps to pool nothing aged friendly ,Pool Bar extremely expensive actually charging 3 euros to have food on a plate, no house keeping from the day we were moved until we left apt was plagued with small flies would not go back staff were nice that was about it furniture in apt needs immediate replacement
