I recently read a review where people complain about certain things at the hotel. The only thing I can agree with is that the towels are a bit thin and washed out (in the rooms, not the SPA towels) and that parts of the hotel are a bit worn out (the long and dingy corridors). But the few negative things are outweighed by all the positives. The hospitality is high and so is the service. Everyone is friendly and wants the best for the guests. The food is consistently fantastic and so are the wines. It is only thanks to many miles of hiking in the mountains, daily visits to the gym and several games of table tennis that the scales show the same on departure a week later. There is nowhere we would rather be than sitting on the sun terrace at the Alpbacherhof with a fantastic dinner and a wonderful bottle of wine and enjoying the views of the mountains!

Hôtel bien situé dans le village d’Alpbach avec très belle vue sur les montagnes. Notre suite avait été rénovée et avait une grande terrasse mais les parties communes et l’entrée de l’hôtel sont vieillottes. L’accueil est très froid : nous avons attendu quelques minutes jusqu’à ce que quelqu’un vienne au comptoir, puis la fille des patrons nous a fait une visite expresse. C’est un hôtel usine avec des protocoles bien rodés mais il n’y a aucune âme, aucun charme, aucune générosité. La salle à manger est rénovée mais il y faisait très chaud et la cuisine est très moyenne, plutôt typique de la région, assez lourde. Le maître d’hôtel était néanmoins très gentil, contrairement au personnel du bar, plutôt froid et peu enclin à venir vous servir. Le problème principal venait du bruit provenant de la chambre au dessus de la nôtre puisqu’on entend franchement les voisins marcher ou même parler ! De même des artisans venaient se garer le matin sous notre terrasse et parler fort à 7 heures du matin. Pour un hôtel spa qui prône le bien être, c’est plutôt raté. Présence importante de mouches dans tout l’établissement. Matelas et oreillers très mous. Pas de shampoing, ni bonnet de douche ou vanity set, serviettes de toilettes très fines et usagées. C’est pingre. Bref de beaux équipements mais aucun charme, aucune classe.

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans ce superbe hôtel,le personnel est aux petits soins, tout y est! Les chambres sont spacieuses, la vue magnifique .Le spa est formidable, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine. Le service est excellent, le personnel est attentionné et à l'écoute. Je recommande ce bel établissement, nous reviendrons bientôt! Merci encore à Catherine pour sa gentillesse et ses bons conseils!

Schönes Wellness-Hotel…wir waren das erste Mal da. Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Essen (3/4-Pension). Das Essen war immer sehr schön angerichtet. Das Zimmer wurde stehts sauber gereinigt. Sehr ruhige Lage. Sehr schöner, grosser Wellnessbereich. Top Fitnessraum. Die Bar genial gross….(ein kleiner Tipp: Während dem Apero vor dem Nachtessen in der Bar, wäre es schön wenn es kleine Knabbereien geben würde). Wir können dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Excellent stay and superb service Very easy to book and the phone support was friendly and helpful with room configuration and some special requests Easily located resort about an hour from Innsbruck. The bus stop to get to the ski lifts is located about 2 mins walk from the front of the hotel. Make sure you check the timetable as the buses can be busy in the morning and afternoon peaks They have a spacious ski room you can access from the street Panorama room with a sofa bed. Lovely views and has a balcony with seating. Modern style, relatively spacious and well set up with lots of power sockets, fridge and tv. Nice walk in shower Restaurant catered well for gluten free. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold options. Evening is a set menu where you choose from options. Tasty food and could be made gf. We didn’t have opportunity to use spa, pool or gym or sample other of the activities the hotel lays on. Very recommended and will definitely come back again in summer or winter

Not a bad resort but it's all for intermediate skiers only. Good for families on the slopes. Plenty of fun slopes. But it's all red runs. Don't be fooled with the distance of blue runs because they are all blue connectors to red runs. Basically 2 short blue runs! That's it. No shops in the village really, it's a very pretty place but it's all about skiing and a few bars and restaurants.
