Great stay Simple, gorgeous view, good food, close to everything.

It’s been a pleasure stay in such a classy property, excellent view, huge open area, beautiful interior, very calm place, tasty food. Kids enjoyed a lot, nearby places Kasardevi temple, Binsar forest, lot of tracking places. Owner and staff are very polite, highly recommend property .

The location of Kasar Himalaya holiday home is nothing short of breathtaking - with a serene view of Himalayas, from the balcony. It is a dream spot for people looking to get an immaculate view of mountains, clouds, and greens. It is complemented with very neat & cozy rooms, friendly staff, amazing food and a welcoming aura in every room. Overall this hotel offers a splendid staycation experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of a luxury stay.

We struck an impromptu trip to Almora, and booked this resort at the very last moment, upon coming across some rave reviews all over. Honestly, it surpassed whatever we had read, and made our trip absolutely memorable! Located perfectly at a quaint location, some 2 kms above the Kasar Devi mandir, this resort has a peculiar amalgamation of "luxurious amenities" coupled with "homely vibes" all around. Rooms are spacious ( We booked a "Wooden studio with balcony", view from the room is so breathtaking that you almost tend to be lost in that serene beauty... The property has a big and well-designed Terrace, which expands the FOV for those awesome views of the hills.. Food is delicious and home-styled, thereby keeping your stomach at ease throughout. It's officially a "buffet" but they serve it on-table after confirming the menu from guests, which is also fine, in fact great, since this ensures there's no wastage. All the aesthetics of the property are top-notch and well-maintained. The staff is remarkably hospitable and make you feel like family. Special mention to Rakesh (the all-purpose, go-to guy), Manish, and of course the two ever-smiling and soft-spoken owners, Mr Gopal and Mr Jeevan Mehra. We stayed here for 3 nights and towards the end, were yearning for more! This place is highly recommended for anyone who's planning to visit Almora or its nearby vicinities!! 😊

Kasar Himalaya Holiday Home ~ Just as the name suggests, it’s a Holiday Home. Simple, Peaceful and Perfect gateaway in the mountains, with well trained, well behaved & courteous staff, delicious Indian food, good location, clean rooms, beautiful views of snowcapped mountain range and a homely comfortable vibe. Nanda Devi room has a breathtakingly beautiful view of the snow clad peaks. Gopalji and Jeewanji - both the brothers have been wonderful and very helpful right from the enquiry stage & even during our stay, guiding us on locations to visit around, arranging a cab or sharing personal notes and talking about their holiday home. Highly recommend for a short leisurely no agenda break in the mountains 😃

We stayed here for almost a week and the experience was phenomenal! Nice peaceful rooms with beautiful interiors and quick room service by their courteous staff. View of Nanda Devi Himalayan range from the balcony is one of it's kind,worth staying for. The whole property is well maintained with cleanliness and hygiene. Great hospitality by the owner Mr. Gopal Mehra ji and his team. They have paid attention to details and you can feel vibe of authenticnAlmora culture throughout the property. They have a separate reading space with a fireplace and you can find good collection of books here including travel guides which have information not easily available on the internet(believe me it's true) We enjoyed reading here having delicious coffee and phenomenal views! Gopal ji has arranged bonfire on our request making our experience more vibrant! Delicious food prepared by Chef ,Mr Kundan was the cherry on top as he paid special attention to his guests. Kumaoni Thali is a must try! I highly recommend this property as in my experience,this is the best one available near Kasar Devi Temple which is just 20 mins walk away. Thanks to Gopal Ji and his team for making our stay memorable.We will visit again!
